And yet you’ve got complete wankers like Lee Ryder writing articles like this that try and convince everyone that pif are all in on Newcastle, have a guess how many mentions of Newcastle pif have actually made in this article……

Said for ages the worst thing to happen to the Mags was Ronaldo falling out with Ten Hag. He became a free agent, nobody other than the Saudis could afford/wanted him and him going there led to thousands of kids walking around in snidey Al Nassr tops from DHGate. The following summer the PIF decided to plough money into the Saudi league - if you're going to throw money at football with the aim of increasing tourism into SA, why would you prioritise a non-elite club in North East England when you could bring aging superstars into your own country and draw international viewers onto the domestic league? They've barely given the Mags a second thought since.
Ten Hag has fucked the mags twice now then - it was because of how much he fucked off Xhaka that we got him here

I’ve never understood the richest clerb in the word claims. It’s like getting a £10,000 bank loan and claiming you’ve now got access to all the funds in Barclays Bank. They’re an investment. And a poor one at that.

I hope they completely lose interest, let them wither on the vine for a few years before sacking them off.
Why would you expect anything they do/say to make the slightest bit of sense?

You're spot on fwiw.

The bottom line in all this was Man City. If they hadn’t done what they’ve done with their owners, Newcastle wouldn’t have thought they were gonna be the richest club in the world. Their owners are no different or better to anyone else’s that’s now apparent. They aren’t their new saviours. And won’t buy them their way to glory. Why a lot of them still believe this is beyond me. It’s only because they came from the same area of the world as city’s owners they believed all of the bullshit. They’ve been had good and proper from minute one, first by queen Mandy and now by this new fella spouting shite. It’s glorious to sit back and watch.

Hmm I don’t find it glorious watching them in the CL and at Wembley, gotta be honest like… if that’s ‘getting had good and proper’ then it’s not exactly torture

Here’s a snippet of what Kaveh’s reporting on SSN:

“PIF announced their new investment strategy for the next five years and also told the areas they were going to focus on. There were seven areas and in this new strategy sport is not explicitly mentioned but, having spoken to people in Saudi Arabia in the past, they would say that sport goes under tourism and also entertainment.”

Could just be a reshuffle in how they categorise their investments, but if they’re pulling out of LIV golf that would certainly signal less of an interest in sport.

He goes on to say they’re going to be more business-minded and profit driven, presumably as opposed to focusing on improving their reputation and global standing. Sport isn’t the best area to invest in if that’s their new approach, unless it’s investment in their own league to increase tourism.

Can’t see any real reason why they’d want to hold onto the mags now tbh unless they think they can significantly increase the value of the club.
Kaveh man he’s f***ing insufferable that fella

They are panicking like fuck.🤣🤣
5/6 times their money back? They bought the club on the cheap for around £300m, have put in another £600m and could probably sell for about £1bn.

This is why they don’t want to build a new training ground and stadium because they are refusing to fund it.

The sooner they accept it the better.
