The Tottenham conspiracy

Looking at their fixtures I can't see where they get themselves out of the bottom three. They might be able to scrape a win somewhere but I can't see them overtaking anyone above them now.
Brighton are on song at the moment but a lot of commentators think this is the game to start the fightback..... personally i can only see a defeat at best and a drubbing at worst and given Leeds result last night and the fact bubbles and the tree huggers are playing well at the moment i can only see relegation for spurs!

48 points from their last 55 games, 102 goals conceded and 29 defeats.

We've won as many games as they have in that time.

But it's the PL and ref's that are to blame

You have to feel for all their plastic fans around the world

They’ve got no fight at all. Could be an awful season for them next year if they do go down
Don't worry about the plastics, they'll pick another team. Probably Arsenal though I can't think why.

I don't get the fascination with De Zerbi from the media either. They seem to think he's going to quickly turn them into some sort of machine when in reality he's not known for organising a defence and they haven't got the ability to play his style.

Tbf to proper spurs fans, the ones with the absolute headloss online seem to fall into the category of this guy from twitter, when I asked if he was there on Sunday:

I am not from England so I don’t attend the games very often, and with Thomas Frank in charge I thought that didn’t make me want to visit. Last time I was at our game was last season, but I watch every at home.

Can't believe someone would openly admit this when trying to win an argument with me about Sunday's game.

I got this from an arsenal fan, which he was trying to convince me wasn't written with the greatest of pleasure, and more pity, needless to say I don't believe him:

TBF, put yourself in their shoes. I started giving it some thought last night. You'll have Spurs fans that have supported the club for 10/20/30/40/50 years. Whilst not always successful, have always been dining at the top table. Now, a few months after their best night in decades, there's a genuine possibility that despite having opened a brand new stadium a few years back, and having these big revenues etc, there's an actual danger that they could be releagted. And there's not a thing the fans can actually do about it. They can see it looming large on the horizon. Slowly inching closer and closer and they're powerless to stop it. It's like having your worst nightmare being played out in slow motion in front of you. I know they're not the first fan base to suffer it, but for them it would be so unexpected that it could all have go so incredibly wrong for it to actually happen. As a fan, you'd just be lashing out at anything/anyone to try to stop it.

I mean, I'll be well gutted if we don't win the League this year, but it must pale into insignificance comparing it to what they're going thru just now.

Pretty fair tbh.

A big issue they have is that every game now is going to be built up and it just ramps up the pressure on a team that is already devoid of confidence.

I honestly wouldn’t be shocked if they are cut adrift this weekend. If they are, I think they will need to win their remaining 5 games to stay up.

Despite their season not being brilliant, you’d imagine Chelsea will be dreaming of relegating spurs

Wonder if he will watch them play Stoke at home on a wet and windy Tuesday night in November 🤣🤣🤣

Tbh if you go down and walk the champo winning almost every game it’s probably more fun than what they’re going through now. Obviously that’s not what happened to us mind!
That’s what they’ll be telling themselves; lots of novelty away days and being the big fish in the pond. The reality might be completely different though; every other team’s cup final, shithousery off the scale compared to the PL, and no VAR to help them. They might just get a shock.

He is a good manager but not in a "Red Adair" way(look him up young uns)He builds teams and that takes time! There is clearly something rotten behind the scenes at spurs as lets be clear they have on paper enough quality players in their squad to not be in this relegation fight ...but they are and not even PEP would be able to stop them being relegated if they lose to Brighton at the weekend!

that's right, it's almost like a snowball effect, it seems unstoppable. A bit like when Leicester won the league. It seemed everyone was willing it, and the same here, and there doesn't seem to be a way to stop it, it feels almost inevitable, like when Newcastle went down under shearer aswell, it has that same feel to it. Like it's just meant to be.

I'd say they need 7 or 8 points from the last six games to stay up.

Looking at their fixtures, Wolves(a) and Leeds(h) look like the best chances of winning, as neither team will have anything to play for (Leeds will be safe by then). They'll get nowt at Villa or Chelsea, Brighton up next who are the form team, a draw would be a decent result. Home to Everton on the last day, who will still probably need something to guarantee Europe.

I think they'll stay up on GD over West Ham.

On paper you’d probably say Tottenham have the best chance. Easier fixtures imho.

But as someone once said, football is played on grass not paper

Someone on their forum was going on about booing the referee from the first minute in their next game and storming the pitch.

Going on like an absolute tit.

He’s probs not even in the country like, so no idea why he’s trying to rally some sort of protest.
