A handful of supporters switching clubs or switching which league they watch in South Korea will have ZERO impact overall to the premier league tv deal. Your argument is daftAnd like I said some of them will switch but others won’t, they’ll either watch spurs in th league Championship or not watch football. Premier league won’t lose money next year as we both agreed the rights are not up for renegotiation but the following year they are and if South Korean figures are down then the broadcaster won’t pay the 60% increase they paid this cycle. It’s not just South Korea btw it’s every country gets bigger viewing figures when a so called big club are involved instead of 2 not so fashionable clubs.
There’s a reason Man United and Everton have been on tv the most this season, they bring in viewers over the other non European playing clubs.
They do have a bit of history with Spurs but I still think it's in wolves interests to not have Spurs in that league with them next season. Burnley are always there or thereabouts, Spurs could easily sell 2000 odd million worth of players and spend a good 100 million, they will piss that league.Agree with the first bit, but wolves would have been 'protecting players' long before now if that was their strategy. They're playing for pride (found some at last!) And to keep off the ignominious 'worst ever PL team' list. Overtaking Burnley is do-able, and would be an achievement after their first half of the season.
It’s not a handful though. It’s a proven fact that broadcasters want the more popular team on tv, hence why Everton and Man Utd are on more this season than any other non European playing team. Spurs going down will result in 1 less of the bigger clubs in the broadcasters eyes and more games showing Brighton or Bournemouth. Those attract less which in turn means they won’t pay as much, that’s all facts it’s not daft. You don’t agree that’s fine but it’s proven by facts.A handful of supporters switching clubs or switching which league they watch in South Korea will have ZERO impact overall to the premier league tv deal. With all pubs being friendly there's so official away pub but the Vault Yard was perfect for it, it's big and has a large outdoor area at the front. Police did turn up and done a sweep, but no bother.
After yesterday, I bet the takings pre match were probably the most they've ever done. One of the London lads couldn't believe he got 5 pints for a tenner![]()
Wouldn't take much, all the pub would have to do is contact fan groups and word quickly spreads.Pity that someone couldn't do this for all visiting fans.
He is running full pelt to get the ball and Kinsky comes off his line a long way to win the ball and at the last moment the defender pulls up and Brobbery is supposed to what ? he reflexes his hands up to break himself when he sees the keeper and missed either. Would you have preferred he collide into both.Well he clearly pushed their lad into the keeper. It's pretty clear. He did absolutely nowt wrong in the incident he did get booked for mind
So if you are chasing a ball down with a defender and he stops dead to protect you getting to the ball ahead of his keeper, YOU will stop dead. Sorry it doesn't work like that.I have been watching Spurs Podcasts and YouTubers etc. they are claiming the premier league are out to get them and there is a conspiracy against them.
Mind you I will say Brobbey should have been off after he pushed Romero into their keeper. The penalty was the right decision in the end.
The delusion![]()
He pushes him man, it's that simple. He is running full pelt to get the ball and Kinsky comes off his line a long way to win the ball and at the last moment the defender pulls up and Brobbery is supposed to what ? he reflexes his hands up to break himself when he sees the keeper and missed either. In terms of premier league support and coverage around the world it really is a handful. The deal has already been done until 2028, so going back to my original point, it will have ZERO impact financially on the premier league Spurs going down. It’s not a handful though. We are just going round in circles with me giving examples and you go nah that daft, it’s silly. Pointless carrying on the conversation.

Both Gallagher and Boothroyd said it wasn't a second yellow on Ref Watch. Romero was shielding the ball with no intend to ball it. That could have been a foul in itself. It was a nudge from Brobbery that, unfortunately, resulted in Romero colliding with the keeper. It's a contact sport man. Horses for courses and all that, but I've no problem with the way BB conducted himself yesterday.
You can shield the ball woth no intent to play it, wouldn't be a foul in itselfBoth Gallagher and Boothroyd said it wasn't a second yellow on Ref Watch. But it could have been because the defender is not playing the ball and blocking the attacker from getting to the ball. Rarely giving now but Boothroyd was explaining it and saying forwards tend to nudge the defender out of the way to see or get to the ball. That's why it wasn't a yellow. Gallagher agreed. You can shield the ball woth no intent to play it, wouldn't be a foul in itself
Defenders shield the ball out of play for corners with no attempt to play the ball, it's allowed. But it could have been because the defender is not playing the ball and blocking the attacker from getting to the ball. The Koreans remember all teams that have had a Korean player. I was in Korea last year for work and I went out to dinner with some Korean colleagues. We were chatting and they asked if I liked sport. So of course I say I'm STID and their faces lit up. "You had Korean player!" But I had to correct them..."we had two! Ki and Ji" and they went berserk. Korean players who made it overseas are huge stars over there.A handful of supporters switching clubs or switching which league they watch in South Korea will have ZERO impact overall to the premier league tv deal.
