Stinks of bullshit. My family are Spurs fans and I arranged with The Vault Yard for that to be the away pub. Went to chat to the lads on the door post match and they said the Spurs and Sunderland lads got on great and there was no problems.
And like I say it's nothing to do woth spurs. It was all down to Son . The MLS has seen a huge surge in popularity, they secured a big deal the minute son went over there.Aye that’s why I say they may change sides but you still get South Korea flags in their stadium so some have stayed. It’s not like the viewing figures will drop to 0 but the lack of internationally known and supported clubs would affect viewing figures. More people watch spurs v Brighton than Sunderland v Brighton.
Aye and that nudge caused a player to cut his head open and one has a seemingly serious injury. Plenty to see. He's a unit of a player, at CF, playing to his strengths. If i was him I'd be putting myself about too. He gives the lad a nudge, that's all. The officials saw it that way too. Nothing to see here.
Way it should be, both sets of fans drinking together and having a crack on. The Spurs lot loved it to be fair and went back post match.lad at work this morning said he was next door the vault yard pre-game and said there was a massive group of spurs fans, singing and all that, and some of them looked like the 'casual types' with all their aquascutum and stone island etc... but, he said there was no bother. just a few edgy looking cockney tossers who everyone just ignored.
Tim Sherwood just said spurs need a win v Brighton.
That is all
And like I said some of them will switch but others won’t, they’ll either watch spurs in th league Championship or not watch football. Premier league won’t lose money next year as we both agreed the rights are not up for renegotiation but the following year they are and if South Korean figures are down then the broadcaster won’t pay the 60% increase they paid this cycle. It’s not just South Korea btw it’s every country gets bigger viewing figures when a so called big club are involved instead of 2 not so fashionable clubs. And like I say it's nothing to do woth spurs. It was all down to Son . The MLS has seen a huge surge in popularity, they secured a big deal the minute son went over there.
Going back to the original point spurs going down won't make a difference to the revenue the premier league get.
Agree with the first bit, but wolves would have been 'protecting players' long before now if that was their strategy. They're playing for pride (found some at last!) And to keep off the ignominious 'worst ever PL team' list. Overtaking Burnley is do-able, and would be an achievement after their first half of the season.Possibly the fans, but if I was a wolves fan I wouldn't want spurs coming down. Also can see a wolves protecting a few players who they will want to sell if they are mathematically down
It's a contact sport man. Horses for courses and all that, but I've no problem with the way BB conducted himself yesterday.Aye and that nudge caused a player to cut his head open and one has a seemingly serious injury. Plenty to see.
Everyone falls and grabs the ball they all do it.Reinildo and his red mists are concerning
Falling over and then grabbing the ball before the ref has blown is abject stupidity for a supposed elite level player
No doubt he is a fine player, one of our best, but he needs to get a grip

wrang, but carry on.The fact it endangered both players suggests it was a clear yellow
Good few will drink through Newcastle. I managed to organise it with the a guy who heads up the North East Spurs group. From then it seems like it was put around Twitter as the 'away pub'.been there a million times on away days, gathered with 100s of sunderland fans pre game. i never seem to see it at our home games though with away fans gathering. but i never walk that way along past greens.
it only takes one knacker from either side to spoil it
So do a few of our players, Xhaka told them to back off when he was discussing the penalty with the Ref. They seemed to crowd round even more.Reinildo and his red mists are concerning

I wanted them to have somewhere to drink here to stop them going through there.
With all pubs being friendly there's so official away pub but the Vault Yard was perfect for it, it's big and has a large outdoor area at the front. Police did turn up and done a sweep, but no bother.class. hopefully more do it. always something that we comment on when we go to away games and they have 'home fans only' pubs. i may be wrong, but i dont think there is a single 'home fans only' pub in sunderland on a match day?
i imagine a lot of away fans still have the image of sunderland from 20 years ago, a bit rough, not many options for drinking etc, no hotels..
i think it must be one of the best away days in the league. really puts it into perspective when you go the likes of brighton, bournemouth, west ham etc.. its even worse in the lower leagues.
i've never been in the vault yard but i'm sure they'd be happy for it to be the unofficial away fans pub for home games. as long as they don't cause any bother
Porro took a knife to a gun fight and realised very quickly that he was likely to die. His only solution was exaggeration, simulation and screaming like a banshee.Should never have been given the first yellow, so swings and roundabouts.
Maybe they don’t , I certainly doDidn’t the FA vote them as the best run club in the Premier League this season? The establishment won’t want to see them relegated.
