They've won 18 major trophies, the only team on that level is Aston Villa, next is Wolves with 9. Spurs also won 4 European trophies, none of the other Midlands teams are even comparable.

It can go either way for them - he’s apparently quite a divisive fella and whereas he started well at Brighton, I believe, it took him a good few games to get going at Marseilles, or it may have been the other way round.
Either way, they’ll either be flying or even more shite, I doubt it’ll be middle of the road
 
The relegation of Manchester United in 1974 was the mother of all relegations. Spurs were relegated in 1978, only 17 years after their famous double winning season and yet this attracted little schadenfreude at the time. If Spurs go down, so what ? Apart from London fans, in particular their main rivals Arsenal and West Ham, it will be all but forgotten in two minutes.

Tbf it would be a big deal. How many relegations have we had since 1977? Probably about 8! It would be the same if it was Everton, and it was that way with Villa too.
 
The only reason I want them to go down is after those two knobheads Spence and VandeVen or whatever, ignored Frank after their defeat and walked off the pitch, when he told them to acknowledge their fans.

Should have put both on the transfer list and fined them max wages.

Neither are as good as they think.

1st time in the bottom 3 for them, that will be a wake up call for them if they don't get their fingers out now nothing will save them.

Feel like it will be a tough game for us, new manager bounce and the fact that they need to start wining games now. That said if we beat them I can see them going down.

Don't have the luxury of last season when the bottom 3 were dead and buried despite finishing 4th bottom. Their final roll of the dice.

Why I hated the international break we were on a crest of a wave confidence wise
The Sol would’ve been rocking
Still think we’ve got more than enough to batter Spurs mind
Having said that it’s enabled us to get most of our injured players back

The finances of modern football would make this probably one of the biggest relegations in history.

Not only is it mismanagement on a scale not seen before but the whole book about how to cope in the championship will need to be rewritten for them.
