These days £80m is probably the going rate for guimares. Current Brazilian international and is a much better all round midfielder than tonali.

Thought I recognised that spenky authors name. He came out with these words of wisdom.

I think my big disappointment is that if we had picked up the six points against Sunderland, Newcastle would now be level on points with sixth place Chelsea and one point off Liverpool in the last Champions League spot. Whilst if also winning those home games against Everton and Brentford, Newcastle would have been one point off third

If they won the games they have lost they would be higher up the table. Genius stuff Dean

Been talking to a couple of mags at work tonight about this(they've just started getting gobby again about themselves, only took nigh on 3 weeks) and they claim its all bullshit and that if they have the money they should be allowed to spend it, but they won`t believe it when I was showing them, hope they go totally tits up and suffer like we did, bring the bastards back down to earth a bit...

Yeah, because no matter how much money they waste on terrible signings, poor managerial appointments, compensation to sacked managers......they have such a huge revenue that they can spend the same amount next year, and the next year, and the next year.
