I worked out 350-£400. Some like xhaka , Angulo, Rienaldo , Tai Bi , Onien , i havent included due to not realising a decent enough price .

So do I, as i said just wondered how it would work financially

Wasnt including some of the smaller fish Seelt,Ba etc . Didnt include Mandava , certainly not at £20m at his age , wasnt selling xhaka either as indispensable at the cost . Think youve overpriced Talbi , Brobbey , Adingra , Diarra , and Le Fee too
 
The main issue with this sort of thinking is to assume player recruitment is 'simple' or at least directly proportional to 'spend 50m and get 50m worth of a player'.

If this was the case then running a football club would be very easy, as you just spend more money and win more things.

I reckon Chelsea would like to chat with the OP :lol:

Masuaku was a free agent throughout last summer. We gave him a contract after the season started, he started two games and was a bombscare in both then dropped and farmed out on loan. He's a year older. Who is going to now give us £3m to take him off our hands? :lol:
