Spurs tickets on sale March 10th

Can't go on Sunday as I'm abroad so want to give my ticket to my mate's daughter.

Tried adding her to my friends and family, he's given me the codes that are on his end, they're bang on but the website keeps rejecting it.

Plan B - ring the ticket office. Get through to a lad who tells me that you can't transfer tickets from an adult to an U14. I said okay... so what's my option? He says... well you could re-list it for resale, wait a few hours and they should be able to buy it. I don't want to sell it to my mate ffs, I want to give him it. So I just thought fuck it, said bye and hung up the phone.

Tried again with adding her to my network and it wouldn't allow it!

So I rang the ticket office back, spoke to someone completely different who was really helpful and must've sorted it in about 30 seconds, emailing me the ticket so I can forward it on.

My first experience with the ticket office was terrible, completely unhelpful and it seems the lad I spoke to basically didn't know what he was talking about.

Second fella was great and got me to where I wanted to be in the end.

Yet even though I'm eventually sorted, I'm sat here proper frustrated by how difficult that actually was in the first place. It shouldn't be that hard to move a ticket from one account to the other!
You could’ve avoided all that and just sent her the QR code as a screenshot. As long as you trust the person it’s no problem.

To be honest the system should be set up to automatically switch on the resale option as soon as all tickets have sold out.

Then there is no need to have someone switch it on, it just happens.
If there is one glaringly obvious issue with ticketing at Sunderland over the last 10 or 20 years is that they've never automated it.

Our drop down to L1 and then back up to the PL have been showered with so many instances of the ticket office quite obviously needing to manually step in to initiate phases or sort through membership numbers etc.

Even after moving providers I think at least twice in that time, they still fuck about with things manually all the time and end up making mistakes and then redoing things late.

It's 2026 ffs, so much of this stuff should be automated.

I get that, but I wanted to do it properly. I shouldn't need to bodge it really; it should've been straightforward.

Anyways, I'm sorted now and very grateful to the second lad I spoke to.

You'd have thought someone at the club would have realised and done something about it. It appears like they are waiting for premium to sell out but anyone who uses the site in a normal way could easily think all tickets are sold out
I'll send a message
Someone higher up in the club really needs to know how abysmal this is.

@Cack Stottie would it be possible to lists folks issues to the club? Would be a long one like and embarassing for some to read!
If only there was a group who could do such a thing 🤔

It’s absolutely wild we still have simple issues like this. We’ve had so many issues this season from the arse backwards way we sold block by block for the cup game, I myself had three messages asking if the game had sold out 🙈 peoples season cards being sold from under them or something going wrong with payments and tickets just being Cancelled sold on without people being informed. It’s seriously basic stuff clubs in the lowest leagues get things like this right.

I’ve always given them the benefit of the doubt but swapping providers hasn’t helped at all so the issues are clearly and have always been in the running of the ticket office. The one real supporter facing part of the club that has the most and sometimes only interaction most fans will have with the club is and has been for sometime the worst.

KLD must be aware of this by now, and still hasn't got round to fixing it

dont think he'll be bothered at all.

the match on sunday is officially sold out, don't think he'll care

every away game sells out straight away

15,000 on a waiting list for STs

really don't think this will be on his radar at all

Or people below him tell him all is great. I doubt the lad deals with the tiny details of running the club and probably some management bloke tells him it’s all great. As you say all he will be told is all tickets largely sold away tickets always sold etc. it’s people below him that are letting fans down, it’s basic stuff they act like we’re in league one still.

They’re losing potential income though. They could sell my lads U14 ticket for a full adult price, but I can’t list it.

I think he cares about the fans though, free st for over 85s etc. Big discounts for over 65 tickets. Cheap tickets for kids.

Ive sent a message through Ask SAFC asking them to switch it on and allow supporters to plan their weekend.

I’m probably not the first to, but hopefully it helps.
Just had this reply:

Hi KST

Ticket resale is not available for Spurs yet and is not always guaranteed to become available. I would advise keep checking your online account for to see when this facility becomes available.

There isn’t a seat left in the ground to buy online. Wtf

110 hospitality seats still available

Not one normal seat left for sale. I sent them a message yesterday asking when resale would be on and got this:

They’ve allowed it before with may more ‘premium’ seats available
