They aren't going to lose Roefs after one season when they have planned for the next five 5. He'll be in those plans as will Xhaka, Sadki and Alderete and we know there's a five year plan because Xhaka said its what brought him here.

Mbappe wanted out at PSG arguably richer than Real. They tried to hold out etc but he went out on his terms and PSG folded. As did NUFC with Isak
Financially we are nowhere near those clubs in terms of financial muscle
Once a players head is turned they stink the place out
We all have red and white specs and expect loyalty etc, but reality is we have little choice but to take money and run

£60M for Roefs, £20M for Adingra, say £10M ish for Isidor perhaps. £90M + say £50M additional/budget. £140M and bring maybe 6 players in of the required quality.

Clubs will be interested in Talbi and Sadiki no doubt, maybe even Ballard and Alderete who have both been absolute machines all season, Omar can play a bit too.

Talbi and Sadiki will definitely stay imo -
at least for one more year. Talbi has been hot and cold (as most young wingers are) and Sadiki’s end product will go against him as a box to box midfielder for the top clubs.

I’d say Roefs is likely to leave, Ballard will have interest and maybe even Le Fee & Brobbey.

Agree with all that.

I don't want any of them to leave, but if it were just Roefs and a couple of the fringe / loaned out players that go, that would probably be as good as we could hope for really.
 
Chelsea paid 70 million for Kepa who is nowhere near as good as Roefs. Not sure I would go there anyway if I were him. He can and will do better.

I genuinely see him as a top 10 goalkeeper world wide in a year or two.

With that said, ya talking a top club picking him up, with hopefully a keeper to come the other way that holds our interest!
 
Much as I'd like to keep him if someone came anywhere near £60m for him, he will be gone. Some offers are just too good to turn down

Looks like we have a good relationship with chelsea , especially after the guiu ( sp) situation at start of season, so maybe sell to chelsea say £70m and loan back for 1 or 2 seasons would be excellent business

Love Omar me. He will also be in shop window in WC too
In a team like United or Non relegated Spurs he’d be a revelation. It seems his wage with us is 65k pw, which would be chump change to clubs like those.
At his age you wouldnt blame him ( at 28 yo) for a last 3 or 4 years on 100kplus pw which those 2 clubs and others could easily afford ( and more )
 
I’m sure I read somewhere that was a release clause that might be as low as 40 mill because Roefs wasn’t particularly high profile or sought after when we signed him. Basically his rapid progress has taken people by surprise.
