Durham v Kent (h) C.C. ( 3/4/26)

Bostock is waiting to be awarded a franchise so he can use all that money on himself on bringing the ground up to scratch.

We've been saying this for years now - the dilapidated Trapdoor and NE Blue Seat Stand, the mouldy green seats especially in the Co Durham Stand, the scaffolding, the unemptied litter bins, the flooded bogs etc ...it just looks rundown. Had supporters from Surrey, Notts, Worcs and even Leics and Derbyshire telling me these past few seasons that the ground is in need of some TLC.
I'd happily paint the rusty radiators in the toilets for nothing. Looks manky.

If I remember correctly they tried to change Jimmy Anderson's action and the wickets dried up when he complied for a while, he took the decision to go back to his original action and the rest as they say is history
Looks to me like they wanted a hit the pitch hard bowler, whereas he's not that. He's a Jimmy Anderson rather than a Stuart Broad.

Looking positive for a resumption later then.

The only ones in the ground who will be disappointed are Kent and the umpires.

I like that they’re inviting people into the ground, even if it’s just to try and force the umpires’ hand

Dips his head and looks away from the ball at point of delivery. Troy Cooley said he'd have a stress fracture if he kept doing this, ironically he had a stress fracture in the remodelled action, also lost 10 mph of pace so switched back.

Can you imagine what contemporary England coaches would make of Frank Tyson?

Team England would probably try and remodel Bumrah’s action if they had their chance…
