It's incredible how different sets of fans can be, isn't it? I remember when we came up from League One I'd say 99% of our fans were incredibly humble, hoping for a steady mid-table finish and understanding what a challenge the league would be. By contrast, I'd say Birmingham as a majority were absolutely insufferable. I mean the talk about signing Riggy...Laughable. This one quoted tweet wasn't an anomaly, they came off as an absolutely horrible set of fans altogether.

I play cricket with a Brum fan and he was telling me they were going to “take Rigg”. I was thinking what f***ing planet are they on?

It’s not like they have a history of being successful in any way to justify the arrogance.

I went to University there 30 years ago. They won the Leyland Daf and it was the biggest thing that had happened to them in living memory.

Their attendances pre this takeover were consistently shocking for a very long time.

The obvious thing to do is what we did. Build a 40k capacity stadium with a design which easily facilitates extensions up to 60k as and when (or if) they’re required.

Literally an events / NFL stadium with a football club attached to it.

Even if they get into the Prem, it'll half be filled with tourists and day trippers with little affinity to the club.

Birmingham is pretty much full of Liverpool and Man Utd fans with Villa thrown in.
Totally agree

I had an office in west mids for years and it’s absolutely infested with Liverpool and Man U plastics

That was led by their arrogant clueless ownership/leadership. They were so wounded that we took Jobe for buttons and made him a £30m player that they wanted to pretend they could get us back for it. Absolute losers - cut from the same cloth as Doug King:lol:

they'll just start saying the same type of shit in July too once they get rid of this manager, and they start wasting even more money

It’s wild ain’t it, I mean they’ve won the league cup in my lifetime been in the premier league a few seasons and been largely lower to mid table championship my entire life. You’d think to make it closer to home that they had a history like their neighbours when they haven’t.

2 to 3 billion quid 🤪. Must be due to not being able to get the cement through the Hormuz Strait.
Think that’s the whole development, sports area, retail, bars, restaurants and new training ground. The area they are proposing to be developed is huge, with a complete sports village. Be virtually a 365 days a year complex bringing in millions every week.
