There was a Luton fan came on here selling tickets for £100 a pair, that’s where I got mine. Canny lad, took us out for a few pints in stooshys wine bar iircThink loads of us ended up with comp tickets...mine was linked to a radio station iirc and I got lucky that a luton season ticket holder had won it so sold it to me outside the ground 15 mins before kick off and ended up on the half way line.
3 of us went away regularly but 2 of us didn't go to Colchester that season and missed out by a point. One got a ticket early doors but I had to sweat it out and get one literally outside the ground.
Was in that Luton main stand. Their MIG boys were literally in tears as there was nowt they could do about us, must have been at least 500 of our 'lads' in there, untouchable. The same lad who got hold of most if not all our the tickets also did so during the away fan ban at Luton at the end of the 80's.Done loads of games in the home end over the years, one of ropiest was definitely Luton away the year we got promoted under Keane, they definitely didn’t appreciate us being in there end![]()
Probably far easier to get a ticket through there if people are prepared to buy an nufc membership, then just enter the ballot and fingers crossed. Don't know if they have ID checks in place at the shit tip, but calling yourself Tutu or similar possibly massively increases the chances of success in the ballot as the mags appear to have some positive racial profiling built into the algorithm, to increase black faces in the crowd, apparently.Fuck the mags. Class how he managed a ticket when they all froth at the mouth over non geordies getting them

To be fair I probably would do it at a ground down south or whatever, I was meaning at St James Park when I made my post.I'm really debating it, not at SJP, but other aways down here as I won't get a ticket. The issue for me is not being able to do dress up and also having zero chance of hiding my loyalties.
I’d have thought a few of the mags in the welcoming committee outside the ground would get early morning knocks or is it just accepted as normal behaviour from where they come fromSo do the hard lads that dish out a punch to the rogue SAFC lad get bans from the club? Im sure there's rules about conduct, laws and that, and i don't think they are adjusted to suit whether you are upset that an opposing fan is nearby.
The tickets for that stand were bought and distributed by one of the Seaburn lads (he has a family connection in Luton). Was always going to be a safe situation in there that day.Same here, along with the Dreadnaught Jr and @bunnyrabbit
.
I must admit that I felt a bit uneasy before kick off as just about everyone around us looked very handy to say the least. I therefore suggested that we should keep a very low profile if Sunderland scored.
Of course Sunderland did just that after only a few minutes and we instinctively celebrated the goal as usual. It was with great relief that most folks sitting anywhere near us did exactly the same!
During the away fan ban Luton fans were actually helping is get in at the turnstiles. Was mental when we scored. Was in that Luton main stand. Forest 0-3 to us, was in the Trent End that night, quite a few of us.
Boro when Ross Stewart was injured in the warm up and we lost 1-0, atmosphere was electric to be fair to them
I'd struggle watching the derby in person in any seatTo be fair I probably would do it at a ground down south or whatever, I was meaning at St James Park when I made my post.
Regarding smoggyWe were above the Sunderland fans as guests of one of our suppliers , as another goal went in more of us jumped up .
Forest fans weren’t happy about it.
Been in the main stand at Liverpool a few times , just got a tap on the shoulder saying we know you’re mackems , all was good , Phillips goal match iirc.
