Sunderland fan in the home end?

Business I work for have a box at NUFC, was there a few weeks ago when Everton turned them over. Asked my boss if me and my eldest son could go in against us, but he refused as they’re on a final warning. Probs for the best because would have been carnage in there in the last minute when Brian scored. No way could I have held back if we were there, my sons even worse

Think loads of us ended up with comp tickets...mine was linked to a radio station iirc and I got lucky that a luton season ticket holder had won it so sold it to me outside the ground 15 mins before kick off and ended up on the half way line.

3 of us went away regularly but 2 of us didn't go to Colchester that season and missed out by a point. One got a ticket early doors but I had to sweat it out and get one literally outside the ground.
There was a Luton fan came on here selling tickets for £100 a pair, that’s where I got mine. Canny lad, took us out for a few pints in stooshys wine bar iirc

Done loads of games in the home end over the years, one of ropiest was definitely Luton away the year we got promoted under Keane, they definitely didn’t appreciate us being in there end 🤣
Was in that Luton main stand. Their MIG boys were literally in tears as there was nowt they could do about us, must have been at least 500 of our 'lads' in there, untouchable. The same lad who got hold of most if not all our the tickets also did so during the away fan ban at Luton at the end of the 80's.

Fuck the mags. Class how he managed a ticket when they all froth at the mouth over non geordies getting them
Probably far easier to get a ticket through there if people are prepared to buy an nufc membership, then just enter the ballot and fingers crossed. Don't know if they have ID checks in place at the shit tip, but calling yourself Tutu or similar possibly massively increases the chances of success in the ballot as the mags appear to have some positive racial profiling built into the algorithm, to increase black faces in the crowd, apparently.

So do the hard lads that dish out a punch to the rogue SAFC lad get bans from the club? Im sure there's rules about conduct, laws and that, and i don't think they are adjusted to suit whether you are upset that an opposing fan is nearby.

Same here, along with the Dreadnaught Jr and @bunnyrabbit

I must admit that I felt a bit uneasy before kick off as just about everyone around us looked very handy to say the least. I therefore suggested that we should keep a very low profile if Sunderland scored.

Of course Sunderland did just that after only a few minutes and we instinctively celebrated the goal as usual. It was with great relief that most folks sitting anywhere near us did exactly the same!

I'm really debating it, not at SJP, but other aways down here as I won't get a ticket. The issue for me is not being able to do dress up and also having zero chance of hiding my loyalties.
To be fair I probably would do it at a ground down south or whatever, I was meaning at St James Park when I made my post.

I’d have thought a few of the mags in the welcoming committee outside the ground would get early morning knocks or is it just accepted as normal behaviour from where they come from

The tickets for that stand were bought and distributed by one of the Seaburn lads (he has a family connection in Luton). Was always going to be a safe situation in there that day. 😊

We went in the Barnsley end in 2007 when we were on that storming run in under Keane. We were sussed when Leadbitter scored and had to leave along with loads of other Sunderland fans. We had to skulk about outside until the gates opened at the Sunderland end, loads of us piled in and saw Connolly score the winner!

Also went in the Preston end for the last game of the season when we made the playoffs under Mowbray, that went without incident.

If you've never done it and have wondered how our end comes across in the rest of the ground, on both those days our supporters looked and sounded superb

Forest 0-3 to us, was in the Trent End that night, quite a few of us.
Boro when Ross Stewart was injured in the warm up and we lost 1-0, atmosphere was electric to be fair to them

During the away fan ban Luton fans were actually helping is get in at the turnstiles. Was mental when we scored.

I got offered a ticket for the exec box through work, I was going to accept but realised I wouldn’t be able to keep my mouth shut so decided to politely decline.

Fair play to the lad and for giving it back to the cowards.

We were above the Sunderland fans as guests of one of our suppliers , as another goal went in more of us jumped up .

Forest fans weren’t happy about it.

Been in the main stand at Liverpool a few times , just got a tap on the shoulder saying we know you’re mackems , all was good , Phillips goal match iirc.

Regarding smoggy

My brother just started to see his future wife & his FIL got him a ticket
I’m certain the Darren Williams winner match

Anyway we were in the away section being a season ticket ticket holder

All his FIL said try & keep quiet if Sunderland score he was in the hospitality section

When Williams scored he said there were loads of our lot in that end celebrating he just smirked at his FIL 😂

Worst home end was Leeds . Was sussed when they scored after 15 mins .
Was in corner and in them days was less than half full .
Turned round and about 50 running towards us .

Was dragged out by stewards before we were filled in .

Got back to car and we were boxed in .

The game with Nyron with his pork pie hat on at the end?

There was loads of Sunderland in their main stand.
