SAFC v Palace FA cup 1976

Didn't need to watch it to know what the chant was, I'll have been one of the many thousands singing it. To be fair, it was probably sung after every opposition goal in that era, along with 'youre going home in a f***ing ambulance'.

Remember it well.
Malcom Allison before the match winding up the Fulwell End.
Afterwards in the car park was a limo with Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt in from Status Quo.
Had a bit chat on with them. They were big Palace fans :cry:
Mentioned this loads
Met him a few times on the train back from the match
He was a scout for us under Peter Reid
He was nothing like his tv persona had some takes to tell 😂
We never lost a home game all season in the league.
Drew twice under both both Bristol teams
@Grumpy Old Man 🤬🤬🤬🤬😡😡😡😜

Similar to this season in a lot of ways by the sounds of things.

I love BMR; the state of the pitches, the tackles, Brian Moore with his dead pan, professional commentating, the lack of media training for players, small boys in the park, jumpers for goal posts, blue Invcars parked at the corner flag, isn't it, eh? hmm, wasn't it.
