Somesome people are f***ing mad on here .
After walking around Sunderland city centre this morning I’m changing it to the majoritySome![]()
Pre-season is primarily for gaining fitness. Any changes in tactics should be decided now so that we can get in the players beforehand ( in an ideal world).some people are f***ing mad on here . Obv we try win every game . That’s what pre season is for
Next match....Short term viewpoint.
To find out where we come up short
Not really.
Strange reply.
We have no chance of classifying for Europe. Get real.
Eh????Do we try to get as many points as possible or shall we use them to try out new formations and tactics with a view to next year?
Personally I would try to try out new tactics to improve our attacking threat. We can't stand still and repeat tactics. People find you out and will find it easier to annul you. Standing still is going backwards.
I am amazed by our results this season - but there can be no let up - this league is relentless - Forest are an example - they are a good side with one world class player and a lot of excellent players - and still relatively in danger of relegation.
If a top 7 club wins the FA Cup then 8th will get Conference League.Honestly man we are 3 points off 7thwe are right in the mix for European qualification and people asking how do we handle the next 7 games

Play our strongest team and try to get as many points as possible!Do we try to get as many points as possible or shall we use them to try out new formations and tactics with a view to next year?

Banging formation tbf. Never failed me!If Regis' smart tablet doesn't look like this then we should probably look elsewhere...

It’s not just tactics. If we ultimately want to build a squad that can challenge for Europe then we are short of at least 4 attacking players.Do we try to get as many points as possible or shall we use them to try out new formations and tactics with a view to next year?

So you would rather piss about now and fall down the league when there is outside chance of getting in Europe ?? don’t think a manager who’s getting paid millions would risk losing his job doing this with next season in mind ? The time is now when your a manager nobody’s in the job long enough to plan for the futurePre-season is primarily for gaining fitness. Any changes in tactics should be decided now so that we can get in the players beforehand ( in an ideal world).
So the OP stance is
- we don't have a hope of getting into Europe this season
- we should sacrifice points this season in order to experiment to improve our chances of success next season
- if we don't experiment now we stand still, and in standing still will go down
- if we get into Europe (we wont, remember, we dont have a hope) we will go close to getting relegated
Dreading the rest of this season and next now ffs![]()
No. They are playing very well. It s a rather stupid question, imho.Next match....
Brentford (7th) v Everton (8th)
There's every chance we could be level with one of those clubs at the end of our next game or 1 point behind both.
Do you think fans of Brentford and Everton think they have 'no chance' of qualifying for Europe?
Who said piss about? You. Neither does experimenting and trying out new formations mean throwing away points.A new approach might result in success. Now would be the time when the pressure is off.So you would rather piss about now and fall down the league when there is outside chance of getting in Europe ?? don’t think a manager who’s getting paid millions would risk losing his job doing this with next season in mind ? Not bothered about europe (but it would be nice)its just for every higher place we finnish in the league the more money we can spend on recruitment!Next season will be our biggest test and the extra money might just get another deal over the line!Pick up as many points aa we can.
