NASA’s rocket is based on decades old tried and tested technology, which is ‘one’ use only, so yes it’s tried and tested.you're quite hung up on that 92bn... best explanation...

the bit that amazed me was the main core is using shuttle motors...NASA’s rocket is based on decades old tried and tested technology, which is ‘one’ use only, so yes it’s tried and tested.
when's crew to the pad time?Approx liftoff 8 hours from now
the solid rocket boosters on the side are basically the same as the shuttle too, just 5 segments rather than 4.spacex have the flexibilty to blow things up in figuring out how to put big objects into space, nasa can't do that with public money so have to take a more cautious but expensive approach to getting humans safely out of the earth atmosphere.

point of order, 3 was redesignated & is now going to be a low earth orbit mission with the as yet to be built lander module & then 4 is the moon shot. It’s a pathfinder/test for Artemis 3 which will land on the moon
hahahahaha, April fools dayIt’s only a few days away now, we are going back to the moon, well flying round it to prepare for ARTEMIS 3 but we are going to the moon.
1972 was the last time we went, this time there will be livestreams and cameras in 4K recording it.
Exciting times for space fans

Im gobsmacked by the posts on here. We went to the moon....hahahahahahahahahaha Totally brainwashed
apollo 8 got to less than 100 miles from the surface, this is something like 5000 miles from what i've read... which means they'll be 1000s of miles further away from earth when they slingshot back compared to James Lovell & gang...

Looking forward to seeing 4K video from the moon rather than in black and white fuzzyvision
About to have crew to pad...
Will try and stay up and watch the launch. Been watching sky news for the last hour and it’s a long process for the astronauts to go through before take off.
