Mags selling their stadium to themselves

So what does this mean exactly? Is this the start of them buying success, or have they just done this to avoid a punishment so they can carry on as normal?

They’ve used the rules to their advantage to not be punished for breaking PSR. The stadium is still owned by PIF so no real change, just on paper.

The ‘loophole’ is being closed so in future stadium/hotel/car park sales won’t count but EPL have weak leadership so the clubs hold all the power an allowed a nice space between agreeing change and implementing it. There are plenty of other things that can be used to get around SCR so if required they’ll be used by all clubs in the future.

They haven’t cheated or done anything illegal but morally wrong and Newcastle fans threw crap at Villa for doing it but now seem to accept it’s fine as EPL are corrupt/stopping them become a big 6.

Their finances are terrible. They've got away with it this time but are running out of assets to cover it up.

So they are now corrupt and part of the cartel.. wonder what theyve got to say about that

Wonder what the transaction cost associated with it? Stamp duty, legal fees. If there were any I’m assuming they’d just go to the buying company as a loss & wouldn’t effect NUFC?

But someone will have to put their hand in their pocket somewhere to do a bit of book juggling.

Can’t believe I’m going to stick up for them and argue against a Newcastle fan on this but it’s not cheating it’s using the rules. Again it’s the idiots at the Premier League who allow this, it’s somehow ran by a bunch of 10 year olds who are scared to upset clubs. The selling of stadiums is somehow banned in the EFL but the PL thought giving 2 years notice was a better idea, aye so clubs can do it and escape any fine.

SCR is just as bad and has as many loopholes as PSR AND FFP.

The most annoying thing is we will have Everton and Forest fans living off as they broke the rules (that their clubs agree on) and were punished, Everton even admitted to breaking it but they’ll claim 2 tier or cartel as Chelsea use the stupid rules to their advantage and then only get a small fine.

Masters and co need to go and get sensible strong people in and change the rules on day 1, don’t give clubs 2 years to use the loopholes.
Change the rules that all clubs vote on?, doesn't matter who is in the charge. The clubs are 20 shareholders making up and voting for their own rules.
