Dunno if its just me, and as folks know I love my county cricket and cricket in general. But I just can't seem to get excited about the start of the season, at all. Im actually more looking forward to the start of the speedway season. I think im so done with Bazball, T20 leagues, the whole lot, I just dont have that excitement this year.
I'm sure I'll still be spitting feathers when we're 30/3 on the first morning, mind

I’m almost the exact opposite to you, I feel like this has been one of the longest winters of my life and I’m really excited to have county cricket back.
Some of it may be to do with wanting to see Durham right the wrongs of last years relegation - even though I’m not wholly confident they will actually do that - because I think this season, more than any time in my fandom, is huge for Durham.

Shame as I do like to think team selection is a bit thing in the game and it will be abused if a pitch doesn't go the way teams thought.

They have that sub rule in the IPL which takes away the importance of reading the conditions. In that you see an opening bowler subbed off after bowling their allocation or a side bringing in an extra batter if they lose a few in the PP. Not a fan.

Huge loss.
Some very strange goings on at the start of this domestic season, so many clubs having their preparation massively disrupted.
Sussex with their finances, Hampshire with their overseas, Glamorgan and now Leicestershire losing key players suddenly and unexpectedly.
I loved Leicestershire’s success story last year, they deserve so much to have a good run, but it’s looking like an incredibly difficult task lies ahead of them to maintain Division One status.

It's very detailed indeed-a whole page to each County. However,I don't know how to get round the paywall.
