Durham v DUCCE

As expected Durham have declared overnight.

Fontaine-Jackson opening for the students. Probably see him playing a few games in the seconds for us again this season.

Been out for Sunday lunch and just got back to see the game on YT.

Looks like Robbo and Conners are doing well. Thought Mawdsley might have had a bowl by now.

Not sure any of these bowlers will cause any problems for a professional team this season.

Rhodes is looking distinctly medium pace.
Mawdsley on now and takes a wicket first over.

Well done young un.
How old is he?

Ackermann out first ball pushing at a wide one outside off. It looked a carbon copy of his dismissals for most of last season when he was a walking wicket. I'm sure they would love to get him in the Xl for Kent but not sure he merits it.

Gay likewise could well have been dismissed in the first over slashing at a wide one. Hopefully Benks can talk some sense into them so long as they're not too arrogant to listen.

Both of them got out to mistimed strokes. How fast were they expecting the young lad to bowl?
