Ballard injury

This. Howe’s team selection regarding Burn will hinge on Ballard playing or not. If they find out he isn’t, I can see the big Blyth dafty starting for his extra threat on set-pieces as we’d be far weaker on then without Ballard.
If Ballard is fit, should disguise it with him coming off the team bus in crutches. Beheddie's face would be a picture at 10.45am once DR'S name is on the teamsheet!

I am not no. “We” referring to the general collective of fanbase and media I have read.
Ah ok 98sy thowt you had a knaaring.
We just have to wait till Sunday see whees playing.
Ballard will play
Gerrin!
Nordi gives us way more attacking options….especially from right back if Ballard is OK to partner Alderete

Provided he leaves Hume on the bench
No way will Hume be benched

Ballard has an arguably bigger game coming up for Northern Ireland on Thursday so that might play its part in whether he plays or not. If Nordi is back then it isn’t as big a blow as it could be.

Hume at right back Nordi/Aldarete and Cirkin is how we lined up against Man City at home where put in one of the best defensive performances we have had this season, could possible be the same line up for Sunday.

The bigger game is the mags as far as Sunderland fans and players are concerned

We pay his wages, we wont give a shiney about them, if he's even 80% fit he will play
