Ballard injury

We havent only defended against any lot. We play to our strengths, and we don't have much attacking threat. As others have said, they'll go there looking to keep it tight first 20 to 30 to take the sting out. Doesn't mean we will simply park the bus or that a chance or two won't be created.

That's our best 5 so we'd have a very good chance :lol: I mean that'd be some turn up mind, people are praying we have at least 3 of them.

Nordi gives us way more attacking options….especially from right back if Ballard is OK to partner Alderete

Mukiele is one of our key players for that very reason. He, Brobbey and Xhaka are vital to our formula. Sadly Mukiele will certainly not be 100% if he does feature.

He's played them and Hume before. Hume very important if looking for Mukiele to go bombing down the right.

This. Howe’s team selection regarding Burn will hinge on Ballard playing or not. If they find out he isn’t, I can see the big Blyth dafty starting for his extra threat on set-pieces as we’d be far weaker on then without Ballard.

Just not sure that “folding in” as they call it for hume works overall….who drops out to accommodate Hume?

Burn will be playing centre back. Botman and Thiaw are arguably more of a threat in the air and he'll be taking one of their places.
If there's no Ballard but Mukiele has trained I'd be happy to have Mukiele at centre back. Him playing right back is a big ask after being out.
