What did you want them to do, send out voting slips to every household? At great cost to the tax payer for something that isnt really that important
It was announced on BBC news & their website, and newspapers im guessing will of also reported it.

Im guessing GBeebies forgot to mention it then, and it seems its their viewership who are the most irate about it. Maybe they deliberately didnt mention it as the result was the obvious one, so they knew they could get outraged over it when the inevitable happened 🤣

Therefore the hilarious reference to GB news , which i have never watched, is pointless.

I've said nothing to you that's any worse than what you've said to other on this thread.

Also just because only 44k people bothered to vote, doesn't mean that it wasn't publicised.

In 60 seconds I found 8 different national news organisations reporting on the launch of the public consultation. It was publicised, it wasn't hidden, it was widely reported on.

The reality is that a whole bunch of people who didn't think it was important enough to bother voting on, are now complaining about the outcome. If all these people had bothered casting their own vote, then maybe they'd have got the result they wanted.

If you didn't know about it when it was reported on every news platform, that's nobodies fault but your own.

If only there was something they could have done to have had their say before the decision was made. Maybe something like clicking on a link in one of the many, many news articles about it and taking 10 seconds to select the option they preferred. Ah well, wishful thinking.

After all, we all know that this public consultation was kept completely hidden from the public. Well, as long as you ignore all of the news media that reported on it that is.

What should they have done then?

Should they have sent a leaflet to every single house in the UK? Should they have used the emergency alert system to send out an alert to everyones phones? Should they have hired tens of thousands of people to go and knock on every door in the country?

It was reported on every major news outlet. If you didn't know about it that's nobodies fault but your own.
