F1 2026

Yeah after watching the second sprint and a full i’m sure enough i’ve watched enough of this new rules set to not he a fan of it overall, today they’re cooking their tyres overworking them having to be more focused on battery racing !

Bring back full tanks, bring in eco fuels and stop this artificial bollocks !

3 seasons of this rules set aint it though

The Merc has a crazy advantage, but there was more action in that sprint than the majority of others we have seen. It is very frustrating with the batteries though and does feel like they've lost some of the purity of F1, if that makes sense.

After watching Hamilton and Russell go head to head, its all about if other teams can extract that bit more battery/pace they can challenge Russell

I first started watching the sport late 80’s with stickered tyres, Sunday morning warm ups, fat tyres and screaming engines and I thought the ground effect era was horrendous and this is for different reasons equally challenging to adapt to and enjoy

Max is unreal like. Car looked awful to drive from the on board and yet he stuck it 4th
In Q1 with a brand new set of softs.
For the majority of the time in F1 you have a dominant car. But when you are only dominant in a straight line just doesn’t feel the same.
It's the place to be dominant, because that's where the overtaking is. If you recall the RB was way faster than everyone else in a straight line at the beginning of the last regs.
Hadjar can breathe a sigh of relief lol
Oh dear George!

Russell could not set a time, start 10th, and still win the race. That's how uncompetitive this is right now. Roll on August and the engine cheat being outlawed. And the two Middle East cancellations mean 50 fewer points before then!

Max already had the title wrapped up when they made RB remove their "innovation", so I fear the same thing may happen this season.
Hopefully Kimi can make him work for his first world title and not let him walk it.

Wolff can shout all he wants about the Merc PU but its plain to see that the McLaren is nerfed on the straights. Matched the works team all the way up until the final sector then lose 6 tenths on the straight. Wey aye

Very much all about the cars so far (more than usual) if you look at them from front to back of grid almost all teammates next to each other with the odd outlier, despite that do think Russell has it in him to be a worthy champion but think there’s plenty left to give in that Mercedes they are hiding to not allow field to catch up, hope Antonelli can have a clean race tomorrow to see what he’s capable of, he’s undoubtedly quick but needs to tidy up for it to be interesting over the course of the season, Russell wins championship comfortably imo but would be nice to go weekend by weekend without having a good idea of result beforehand

Good start to the season for Bearman

I am very much looking forward to Max’s twisting this season
He's been doing it this season already. I mean he's not wrong but its delightful to see him in midfield, the odious cretin.

Just watched Qualy and the Sprint highlights.

Hamilton rolling back the years. Great to see him scrapping towards the front.

Leclerc has a battle on his hands for no.1 driver. He still is for me but Hamilton right there.

Yes Mercs are far ahead but dont count out McLaren now they have got access to the cheat codes. They just have to figure it out now.

Looking forward to the race, hopefully the racing lasts more than a handful of laps this time.

I get the feeling without his issues Russell would’ve been half a second clear of even Antonelli. No battery at the start of the lap and he’s still within three tenths of his team mate.

Bar something extraordinary, champion already.

Both high speed tracks where I expect mercedes to have performed well. Those long straights wouldve set them ahead.

Thankfully a bit of time for teams to catchup a bit
