F1 2026

Still utterly mental there is no German GP on the calendar these days.

Genuinely can’t see an end to the conflict anytime soon. Honestly think Abu Dhabi and qatar will be off too.

A vegas finale would sound crap.
Nurbergring full circuit would be epic.

It will never happen but imagine F1 cars going round the carousel two abreast!

Health and safety my arse!

would that even be possible or would they end up beached?
Depends if they had the inside line.

But there would be some epic crashes.

We should have a German GP. I loved the old Hockenheim circuit that ran into the woods.

The emasculated version was a pale imitation.

I loved racing on the old Hockenheim on F1 pole position 97 on my old N64. Sadly the majority has been left to nature for a lot of years now. I have read it was pretty crap for spectators too. Basically 75% of the lap the cars were only watched by trees.

This is true and the circuit used to hang onto moisture a lot.

It did not fit with the required safety requirements of modern F1.

But I still maintain we should have a German GP.

we should, these tracks like Saudi and Baku should be no where near the calendar. We should have a race in Africa too. But at the end of the day F1 is a business, and countries that can pay tens of millions will get a race over those that can't.

For the majority of the time in F1 you have a dominant car. But when you are only dominant in a straight line just doesn’t feel the same. The W11 was one of the greatest ever f1 cars but that was incredible to watch it get thrown around each and every corner on the absolute limit. Watching George go 10-15mph faster than everyone in a straight line just isn’t fun
"The Brixworth Power Unit is currently running a mapping at 3.5 on a scale that can reach 5.0."

Would be interesting to see just how far ahead they actually are if they turned the engine up properly.

We used to go to kyalami.

I agree we absolutely needs a race on the continent of Africa

Or more than one race.

But finance will be an issue.

They won’t want to, if they do that the FIA will trigger the engine development for the other engines

Morning everyone, looking forward to a good sprint and qualifying today, hopefully someone can challenge the mercs
Wow Kimi bogged down on the line, the Ferraris are rapid off the line, he's now collided with hadjar
Lewis leading
Didn't last long
Glad I got up for this although it looks like no one else has 😂

Slowest car recovery ever
I wish they would show the battery graphic a lot more
Really enjoyed that again. Like I said last weekend I'm keeping an open mind about these new regs but up to now it's creating some great racing.

again, enjoyable but pointless, Russell is going to win everything
Agreed but I think it's closer than what people expected at the start of the season, I was expecting 20/30 second gaps they way his advantage was being reported.

Ferraris look a couple of changes away from challenging and McLaren have made huge gains in one week after getting the new mercedes engine.
