I do mind. I mind when people attack the values of this great country. Not sure about either of those descriptors but never mind.
I've already asked him what other history has been erased, he won't play with me though as he at least knows his limits. After glancing at the thread titles I recalled that the full title of this thread is “More erasing of history”
Which suggests that the OP believes that it’s not just bank note design that’s erasing history (however nonsensical such a view might seem to many) and that there have previously been other instances of erasure.
Leaving aside the leaps of logic required to list or explore history that once existed but has now been erased … let’s just assume that’s merely semantics… I wonder what other historical events are that we once knew about but have now been erased, as suggested by the thread title.
Just a thought.
This is also un-British. British values are to discuss and debate without despising the other person.Pulling down statues.
But hey, semantics is the bomb here.
Nothing else matters.
I wishing hadn't started this thread.
I fully stand by my views, but my opinion on Sunderland fans is plummeting .
That hurts.

Animals of course were invented in the early 90s.
Never ..in the field of human currency has so much been made of so little by so few ..so fuckWe shall go on to the end, we shall fight in the RTG, we shall fight on the SMB and Politics Forum, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Petty Boot Boy Fannyism, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the bank notes, we shall fight in the adverts with black people and ...
what did you did when he wasnt on the previous fiver in your pocketIts the worst of British to celebrate achievement and greatness? Oh forget it. Beyond reason or hope.
Pulling down a statue of somebody doesn’t erase history. It doesn’t change the fact that the person to whom the statue is dedicated existed, or what they did.Pulling down statues.

No you’re not. That would be cowardly and cowardice is not a British value. You receive well-reasoned opposition and you run away? Hardly Churchillian. That's it.
I'm off to support Newcastle.

Unusually self-aware of you. Well doneThe level of lunacy is peaking.
You started it.The level of lunacy is peaking.
What an un-British reply. A key British value is Mutual Respect, which promotes the idea of treating others with dignity and understanding, regardless of differences in background or beliefs. There are plenty of resources available to help with understanding British values. This is a good starting point:The level of lunacy is peaking.
