This was a fixture up until about 8 years ago had full allocations and passed off relatively incident free, certainly within the stadium.

The police have completely lost control and misunderstood a relatively recent change in fan behaviour, mainly the ultra type knackers.

Yes. What caused the big allocations to end in first place? They had been played four times a season since time immemorial.

Agreed, apart from the 'misunderstood' point. I don't think it's a misunderstanding by individual officers - it's a lack of resources and willpower from those above them, plus the clubs should be more proactive, too. I'm pleased to see Celtic's ongoing attendance ban on the Green Brigade.

Celtic has had a ban in place at Parkhead for its ‘Green brigade’ since October last year after the Falkirk game. Guessing you already knew that.

They’ve banned them before and let them back in, further emboldening their arsehole behaviour, but I’m guessing you already knew that.

Police criticising the fact that neither club has condemned the violence
It’s as though Celtic and rangers control Scotland
It’s mob rule
Ban away fans indefinitely until both clubs show some contrition
But stop the home side selling tickets that would be in the way end
Hit them in the pockets

Both clubs from top to bottom are rotten and scum and despite periodic claims and appeals should never be allowed into English football

Was there any football related violence that night? I was at the game btw

Loads tried to get in without tickets but I didn't see any mass outbreaks of violence and fighting

What are you talking about?

Celtics interim chairman and Rangers have both given public statements saying that actions were unacceptable. Rangers’ in particularly is strong on the behaviour of their own fans which is quite unusual. Full credit to them.

I don’t think there’s an agenda with the police I think they’re largely incompetent. Celtic had warned about the potential to rush turnstiles in the lead up to the game.

Important to have facts rather than feelings.
