Chemsdine Talbi 🇲🇦

Aw that made me sad seeing his single pillow in the middle of his double bed but much prefer having these type of lads to the halycon days of the infamous threesome with browny on the bench
Honestly don't be sad. The sight of my single pillow on my bed in the spare room whilst the missus is with the baby in our bed is a welcome sign that I'm going to actually get some sleep!

There’s an article in The Times this morning regarding Slot saying how difficult it now is for wingers to excel in the PL because of the increased speed and physicality of the full backs. He says that is why right footed wingers no longer play on the right and lefties on the left - they generally don’t have a pace advantage over the full backs and therefore can’t get down the line to whip in a cross. Instead they play on the opposite side and cut in.
Don’t know how correct this is, but that is what Slot is saying.

There might be something in that, but not been able to go down the outside never cause Summerbee any problems.

Or Mukiele who isn't a winger and hits crosses similar to buzzer, just needs half a yard to put his cross in and one of these peaches the jarmin jordie couldn't resist getting his napper on LOL.

Mukiele's fast as fuck and also built like a centre-back, though. Not sure that's quite what Slot had in mind.

Yeah I understand that but as a wing back he puts in some great crosses, maybe our wingers need to study his technique. Talbi for instance is also rapid and a right footer who maybe would benefit from studying Mukiele's crossing ability and be better as a right winger.

I think it's to do with where you're running from. A full back is often bombing beyond with a long run up, past slack marking, and therefore it's easier to get space for a cross

A winger tends to be 1v1 a lot more and so it's trickier to beat a man on the outside and get a cross in

I suspect if you put Mukiele on the RW he'd face much the same issue of creating space for a cross

Iirc Summerbee didn't have to beat the full back- he would bend his crosses around him.

This. Buzzer had that incredibly difficult knack of being able to take one touch to get the ball from under his feet and then deliver a superb cross. There hasn't been many who have been able to do it. I'm not comparing them in any way but Beckham and De Bruyne could do. Can't think of many others.
