Chemsdine Talbi 🇲🇦

There’s an article in The Times this morning regarding Slot saying how difficult it now is for wingers to excel in the PL because of the increased speed and physicality of the full backs. He says that is why right footed wingers no longer play on the right and lefties on the left - they generally don’t have a pace advantage over the full backs and therefore can’t get down the line to whip in a cross. Instead they play on the opposite side and cut in.
Don’t know how correct this is, but that is what Slot is saying.

I’m a big softy but this just made me feel really maternal for him 😂 these young lads coming from abroad there must be times it’s a bit lonely when you haven’t really built your community yet
This doesn't get taken into account enough for me when some lads are struggling to adapt when they come to a new country and why they need time. Young lad, no family around him. Probably doesn't get out and about much. The closest he gets to a family gathering is having his dinner with his mother over facetime etc.

Yes he does seem at a bit of a loose end if not around the players directly. Strong minded kid though, confident he'll get sorted.

Le Fée is playing really well on the left, which makes it harder for Talbi to break into the starting lineup. But in time, once a big club comes in for Le Fée – he’s around 26, right? – Talbi will be a great option to step in. He’s a very good player and a strong backup winger for us.
We’re mid‑table in the league at the moment.
There are also rumours that we’re interested in Jonathan David from Juventus. If that’s true, it would be an amazing signing.
How much is this big club going to pay for Le Fee, given that he loves it here and the fans love him? We shouldn't be even thinking about selling our crown jewels unless the price is too good to turn down. Bear in mind that he's only 26 not yet in his prime.

Aw that made me sad seeing his single pillow in the middle of his double bed but much prefer having these type of lads to the halycon days of the infamous threesome with browny on the bench
Agreed, take it any day over knobs like Kilgallon literally just pouring whole trays of drinks onto the floor and players laughing about these stories about what a class group of lads they were. Comes across like quite a shy lad

They're obviously well paid and so on but it does seem like a strange life.

20 years old, move to a different country on your own. Working in a hugely competitive industry in the public eye. The afternoons after training must be a bit strange and lonely unless you have a decent group of lads together. Fortunately, our lads seem quite well adjusted but it's clearly not the case at all clubs

Did he say reinildo lives next door to diarra?

Odd life they live isn’t it,
Going home in the afternoon to nap and play video games. FaceTiming his mum for breakfast…..

Especially for an observant Muslim - must restrict his socialising options, especially if the other lads bond over nights out or trips to casinos / horse racing etc.

Obviously there are huge rewards to counteract the downsides, but it must be a difficult life at times. Probably quite grim for young overseas players in the lower leagues.

Wage slip helps or they wouldnt come

Fascinating insight
So if I heard him correctly Diarra, Renaldo & Xhaka & him are Muslims

Absolutely love stuff like this. I'd pay for this kind of content

Same as most kids these days I suppose. Eat, sleep, game, on their phones
