ID checks for away tickets

The points are on my account and my dad’s. I often go to away games with my brother because of my dad’s work.

If we were flagged for an ID check and I have the correct ID, but the second ticket is in my brother’s name (same surname, clearly the son of the account holder), what normally happens? Has anyone experienced how strict the club are in this situation?
I don't think anyone knows fully but if the name doesn't match, then you aren't getting in probably

Just spotted someone I know on TV who absolutely does not have enough points to be there
I've been to Mags away 4 times without enough points. Nowt new like.

People have collated points for branch members as long as I've been doing away games. I never got any points as the ones with the most just kept getting them.

Yep - needs sorting now though and 10 checks a game isnt going to do it

There's the facebook group shut down by the club...

I sort of expected it tbf. No doubt it was done in good faith but it probably causes them all sorts of issues with tickets being passed about. A shame really
I think it was done with a motive and a power trip, which often happens on some branches and within some smaller groups, and let’s be honest there were people holding onto tens of customer numbers

That's why it was set up in the first place, simply to help fellow fans out.

Motive? By who? I can assure our Luke had no motive or 'power trip' at all...if that was the case he would have sorted himself a ticket for mags away...but didn't.

About time it went but I have no doubt another one will spring up in its place almost immediately.

Whether people agree or not, the rules are that tickets cannot be sold on. The club have to be seen to be trying to stop it

Irrespective of whether it was initially set up with the best of intentions, availability of away tickets is a very hot topic with fans (you only have to look at the threads on here) and I doubt the club could even begin to look at alternative ticket distributions without trying to sort this

Branches next please with their lists of numbers they use as they have buses to fill
