Rightmove Voyeurism

Its a beautiful house and gardens but always with houses like these I look at and think what a waste 5 or 6 of the bedrooms will be, unless you have 5 or 6 kids surely rooms will just be dumping grounds for crap. That house has 2 sitting rooms, a dining room, breakfast room, library and an orangery so even if you hated your family you could find a room downstairs that nobody would be in. Not saying I wouldnt take it for free but I'd hate my life when I couldnt find my keys and had to look in every room.
I know what you mean, but then at the minute we have people wanting to use the same room at the same time.

Two people waiting to watch different TV programs is one, or I can not sit on the sofa and read if someone is watching telly. There are times I have wanted a second sitting room. Then we have a study with a desk for me and the wife, but we each use it as a music room too. So if I want some guitar practice on an evening I'm fitting it in after she finishes work and is not doing any singing or keyboard.

In an ideal world, we would have a study/music room each, which for me would have a couple of extra desks to use as a tech workshop. I can not solder something and use my laptop at the same time for example.

Or in other words, I want to spread my mess everywhere!
there must be a catch?
House prices a lot cheaper in Scotland. But when you look at it on street view, it is a smaller plot than I imagined and seems to be on the intersection of two roads where you would expect a reasonable amount of traffic.

Next door to a care home too. I'm not sure if that is an issue or not. It is not like the neighbours will be up partying all night. But when I saw the pictures I thought it would be a bit more remote.

Just along the road from me. Very surprised to see anything around Low Fell justifying that sort of price. Lovely gaff though.

Yup , very nice , a bit optimistic with the price if you ask me , but good luck to whoever is selling it.

Get what you mean, I live alone so don't ever have those issues, but my mam and step dad keep talking about moving and they basically need a big kitchen/dinning room for when family come round, 2 different rooms for tv/youtube, a room for all his random crap and a double garage for the rest of it but then they wouldnt ever need 8 bedrooms even if all the grandkids decided to stay the same night. Basically need a mansion downstairs then a 2 up 2 down upstairs.

Bloke in flat under hers had a little pont he’d walk through the house as garden was landlocked! 😂

Looks like it was by the same architect who built Oxclose comprehensive. The same brick work, trim around the top of the roof, the paved inner building quad. Brought back a few memories.
one next door is the same, probably be on the market quite soon I suspect.
