Same.Mine is slightly up today!
I don't usually look but I thought I'd have a gander to see how far they fell but they were up.

Really? When did you invest? Friday?Had pretty much all my gains wiped out in 2 days
About 3 months ago, so not that long tbh but it's quite annoying. Only got a little bit invested in the grand scheme of things so it's nowt life changing.Really? When did you invest? Friday?

I know just avoided this type of stuff in the past as I'm risk averse. Thought I'd give it a go but not sure my anxiety is a good fit for the stock market3 months is pretty much nothing in a S&S ISA. They’re designed to be used over 5+ years.

Majority of my money is in a cash ISA just thought I'd give the S&S a try to see what it's like. Hopefully it all turns out alright, I mean trump can't have too many years left in him to fuck things up.Best not to put money you may need in the short or even medium term in one. You’d be better with an open access cash isa.
S&S are invest and forget ISA’s.
This is becoming a regular theme isn't it folks.
Who's we?A cynical person would say,
“Let’s get the working plebs to save with their stock ISAs so we can take even more money from them”
I’ve got a couple of Cash ISA’s and am looking to invest in a S&S when the new tax year kicks in.
In view of the current world climate can I open a new Cash ISA and change it at any point to a S&S one ? (I know I can only use the maximum 20k allowance)
It depends what you buy. An ISA is just a tax free ‘wrapper’.Best not to put money you may need in the short or even medium term in one. You’d be better with an open access cash isa.

Absolutely wrecked today in sas![]()
