Patterson


Strange situation Milwall are in the play offs and Max Crocombe has 9 clean sheets in 22 games. It’s like us last January singing a premiership number 2 who would of been expected to play ahead of Patterson we jusy wouldn’t of done it

their current keeper is in his 30s and had never played in the championship before this season
 
Patto should be better than their current keeper. Max Crocombe is a New Zealand international with 20 senior caps and 200 odd games in England but all lower league. Millwall are the biggest team he's played for, the rest have been league 1, 2 and non league. He's 32.

I make this judgement based solely on Wikipedia.

I couldn’t believe he kept it out at the time. From where we were sat it was destined for the net. Looked even better when we saw it back after. I’m not old enough to have seen Monty’s first hand. I know Gordon’s vs Bolton always gets a mention but when you factor in the magnitude of the game and the timing within the game itself, I can’t think of any better.

And a special mention for the one he made second half with his feet from Brooks too!
