Forthcoming gigs.

Public Service Broadcasting at Halifax Piece Hall in August. Presale today. A venue that many seem to enjoy.
Cheapish Alter Bridge tickets for Newcastle tomorrow if you are in the don't talk about tickets club. Standing seems to be £19.95 all in as opposed to £76.30 on Ticketbastard.

Bill Callahan at Wylam brewery 30 September. I’ll be there

Me too. I’d spotted his Edinburgh gig a couple of days later last night, but was starting to lose hope for a northeast show when I saw the Glasshouse was all busy with a Steve Reich season. Certainly didn’t foresee Wylam being our saviour…

Moin are playing that Glasgow event too. They're excellent on record. Never seen them.

Aye, shame about the Arena, but Doves supporting as well made me grumble less about the price.
I have booked up for Doves & James in April.

I knew that Doves were previously SubSub but after listening to some of their music recently I didn’t realise how good they were 20-25 years ago. Somehow I was ignorant of what they had been doing.

I’m kicking myself now for not watching many gigs over the past 20 years.
