Some renewal prices incorrect

As mentioned by Hetty it's in the Season Ticket renewal thread as people were saying a different price to others in red sections. It's also been pointed out that fans have been quoted higher prices than they should. I debated whether to post this in a new thread to make more fans aware but didn't as some have me on ignore so just posted it in the thread as sometimes they see quotes.

I even thought about asking in the post if a mod (@Pancho to be honest) deems it worthy to have a thread they could start called "Check if you've paid the correct price for your Season Ticket" and having it as a sticky for a few days so people are aware. I didn't bother asking either but if it's deemed worthy and helpful then someone (@Hetty) feel free to copy and paste the image from the link so it's not hidden amongst a thread so more people see it.

From what I see the price for red sections U4/U5/U6 were shown lower prices. Those who were shown higher were due to moving seats in last few seasons and possibly having a new Supporter ID and maybe even changing age bands but nothing confirmed. The red section under pricing is an easy fix as it's a full section but will the club be able to find all those who've possibly renewed unknowingly at a higher price?
Worth a new thread. Daft having important issues lumped in mega threads
I'm not reading 1000s of posts about autorenewels hoping to find sonething interesting.

Is there an official page stating what the prices should be anywhere so you can check?

Surely if they have sold you a ticket at a set price they will have to honour that ?
You would like to think so. I ve coughed up already for mine and the bairns. There’s a slight increase from last season. Have the confirmation email etc and the money has gone from my account. They can’t just suddenly say oh you need to pay us another x amount.

I've hated the last 3 or 4 years of renewals.
Ticketing has been an absolute shambles ever since Drefus walked through the door

Unfortunately they can. I'm insame position, renewed on Monday and now it seems that price was wrong. On the renew thread someone posted a link the the T&C's for season ticket sales and point 2.4 states that if a pricing erro has been made the club will contact you to make you aware. Make sure you keep an eye out mate cos it also says if they don't hear back from you your payment will be cancelled and ticket will be put up for sale.

@HawaySkin @Bacchus @Smiler based on your posts on this thread the above may apply to you as well so just be mindful to keep an eye out for emails

Not when theres people waiting in the wings for season tickets mate. Demand changes things.
This is my concern. I think I’m in the 550and 95 category for my 2.
But I’m being told it’s 615 and 135. Not a lot in reality but 5 quid a game.
I’ve had season tickets with the same lad and his family for 5 seasons- his is Lower price 🤷‍♂️

I expect I’ll either have to pay the higher amount or walk away. The only thing I’ve had back is there is no proof I’ve had a season ticket longer than this season, yet I paid an early bird price for season ticket holders before we got promoted. I’ve got 80odd loyalty points- an impossible amount without being a season ticket holder for the last 4 seasons minimum. 3 boro and hull aways attended- STH with 30+ points minimum sell outs. Not evidence supposedly

Did you move seats recently by any chance?

My quote still says the same as does my brother's and dads

I'm in the other boat where the price I'm seeing is too much. Without a clearly documented pricing structure there'll be plenty of people who don't get on here and pay the price they see without a second thought.

Have you actually renewed already or not yet?
It's a poor look if they charge those who have already paid. At the same time, it's wildly unfair if they get charged less than people that as yet haven't.

Damned if they do, damned if they don't.
I'll be annoyed if they say I need to pay more, but that's due to the ineptitude of the ticket office being able to put a simple table of prices out for everyone to check again. I totally agree that it's unfair that some should be charged less than others in the same category with the same loyalty points/length

Whole things wild like. How can you put up the wrong prices for a multi multi multi Million £££ company

For everything right they've done the Ticketing crack still remains mental, although I do think the systems are beyond easy to use when buying Home/Away tickets

2 seasons ago I did. I moved the season after they moved me for the mags cup game funnily enough I have the tickets for that game but in isolation means nowt
That could be the issue mate, there's quite a few on the ticket renewal thread who've had season cards for say 15 years like their mates, but some have moved in the last couple of seasons and are being charged a higher rate. It looks like it might be looking at how long you've had your seat, rather than your season card overall

I'm in a similar situation. I've been quoted the newbies price even though I've had a season ticket since 1979. The problem seems to stem from when I bought my grandson a part season ticket in December 2024. My mate bought one for his son at the same time because two seats in front of ours became vacant. They wouldn't let the kids sit together so I had to move due to the clubs safeguarding policy. Fortunately I still had an email they sent at the start of the 23/24 season saying my ticket had been auto renewed so I'll be able to prove my case so maybe it's worth you checking your old emails.

In literally any other business it would be a case of "tough shit, the customer has already paid", but I bet it's not with this case...
I’m not sure about that like.

I’ve had things cancelled before that I’ve ordered where there was a pricing mistake. If you were buying something in person in a shop and took it away at the same time then yes it probably would be a case of tough shit they’ve already paid.

But if you were paying in advance for something at a later date then I think most businesses would go down the route of cancelling the purchase and starting again

I don’t think I’d even argue if it was admitting I’d been in same seat for 1 championship and 1 prem season. I think the difference is 25quid. I’ll fight for 100 though 😂

I’ve been balls deep in them!😂 I’m ADHD as anything so stuff doesn’t stay much longer than it needs to- possibly regretfully in this instance 🤦‍♂️

I changed bank accounts last season so have no access to old statements either.

I await further guidance from ticket office
