We would like to see him back. He did get off to a slow start but when his confidence grew he seemed to improve. He is currently playing for his state side in the south African first class comp.
It was late February last year before Doggett was announced so perhaps we'll hear something this week.

Don't think he has played much and not sure how the wickets are playing out there. Be a bit different in seamer friendly conditions in AprilMind Yusuf
But Yusuf 7 wickets at 47 a piece this season in S.A. domestic

We certainly need somebody useful, and soon.
Our bowling resources consist of Raine, Potts (unless ECB have a say), Carse (unless ECB have a say), & Wood ( unlikely to get through a full game). They are our senior bowlers.
After those we have Archie Bailey, Based Aldridge Minto and Hogg. Bailey was unimpressive last season, Aldridge has ok bowling stats for Somerset, and the other two are still raw.

Yeah the ECB will also probably keep him out of the side for the rest of the season. No doubt they'll let him play in the new English IPL in August.

Hadn't realised Yusuf had been signed and will Potts be regularly available and return to his pre 2025 standards? Just attempting to be realistic.
A decent overseas is certainly essential.
