Mundle

Crying on the pitch at the end, I know most wont have sympathy but he gives his all in every game so I feel for him.
I hate tossing players under the bus especially ones that clearly care but the lad won’t ever make it at this level. He hasn’t got one unique attribute that stands out, he’s not really tricky and he really hasn’t got the pace, he’s isn’t very creative and today was a showing of his composure especially at this level. We need to move him on in the summer for his own good.

There were worse performances than mundle
He tracked back well and at least was there for one of our only chances.
Diarra was lacking unfortunately - think he needs to go out to right wing next week when xhaka is back

Hume was f***ing shit man wrong side of Wilson for the corner we conceded for their goal then caught upfield for their last goal
I’m sick of Reggie showhorning the lad in at any cost. Granted today cirkin must have had an injury but we are doing him no favours tossing him at right back left back centre mid right mid the lad is and will always be a very solid right back nowt more.

What about our record signing 30 million quid midfielder who can’t pass the ball 5 yards ? How many goals scoring positions did he get into in the 70 mins he had

Diarra came back and looked good initially but he's returned to the kind of form he briefly showed before injury. He got forward and supported well at times, but our forward play is turgid and he doesn't look great technically a lot of the time. Le Fee should be playing in his role.

Diarra does contribute at times though. Brobbey has mostly been positive, barring the odd miss or foul over the season. Angulo has looked very promising and shown some quality.

Those players either have contributed or look like doing so on occasions.

Mundle got played in by Geertruida and absolutely fluffed an easy chance - and it should come as no suprise to anyone. Generally he doesn't look anywhere close to PL level.

Diarra has played about four games worth of game time since September. We won’t see the best of him this season unfortunately.

Lads missed a chance that doesn’t make him not good enough

Tbf a guy like Cirkin would have helped as that opens an option that is quicker and more direct for him. Before their third, think Mundle had a chance to play Sadiki or Hume down the line but when it recycled back to them they were playing around way too much.

He was sat on the bench 10
Mins after going off… I assume if that bad he’d still be getting treatment etc
I don't think it works like that.

If they can't patch someone up to be able to play on they don't generally immediately start treating the injury as the game is going on.

It will need to be assessed properly and see if any scans are needed etc.
