Glasner

Dunno if there’s ever been a manager which has tanked his stock more than Glasner has this season. Won the FA cup and had a solid upper mid table finish, was tipped for a lot of big jobs.

Now it’s just frequent outbursts, an underachieving Palace team and he looks completely checked out… shame.

Thats exactly why hes turned like this. Potentially knacked his big job.

Started this season really well also then fell apart. As you say, outbursts don't help and letting people know he's leaving hasn't gone well.

Tbh by letting everyone know he was leaving, no matter what, at the end of the season I feel he has shown Palace board, players and fans no respect at all.
It’s all about him.
He probably thought that by letting everyone know what he was going to do bigger clubs would be fighting to get him. Remember he did this when his stock was high.
He’s shown his true colours and should be avoided.

Pretty sure he told tge board in the summer and it was kept quiet, it was the board who lwt it slip that he was leaving

Don’t know if that’s the case or not. His behaviour recently, certainly since our game, suggests he should be avoided.
Tbh I have very little time for Palace anyway. Shit ground, miles away, hard to get to in a shit area.
Shit ultra fans. Malcolm Allison, Alan Whittle, Simon Jawdone.

Yeah have had a read up and he told them back in October , both parties agreed to keep it quiet which they did. Then I think he spoke out after another succesive poor transfer window. He seems to be getting alot of stick on here but he's been let down badly by the palace board in my opinion, selling their best players, replacing them with lesser quality, the Europa league fiasco, can see exactly why he wants out.

Became a battle of the wits.

Glasner clearly wanted to be sacked for a pay off, chairman happy for him to go at the end of the season without a payoff.

Canny fall from grace from winning FA Cup and Charity Shield.

I'm not sure he would be that bothered about half a year's wages. He's going to earn alot more than that in the future.

Useful 4 points for us this season!
I wish all our premier league League opponents unhappy coaches and an incompetent board 😂

Maybe, if I recall his outburst came soon after two other PL managers having a similar outburst and getting sacked.

Whichever, he seems to have gone from hero, FA Cup winner to zero, very quickly.

Easy to say now but really they should have parted ways in the summer. Glasner had a history of throwing his toys out of the pram going off Palace fans. There’s also no way he didn’t know he was joining a club that’s a selling club, they done it before he came and will do it after he leaves.

If he left in the summer he’d be linked with the top jobs in England now he will be linked with 2nd tier jobs in Europe. Also if they agreed to go the new manager could have had the Eze money and sold Guehi and got decent money and invest in players they wanted.

Agreed. Believe it was Frankfurt or Wolfsburg where he had some toys out the pram moments… probably at both clubs. And just today he had another outburst saying “maybe I’m not good enough” when he’s just as culpable as Parish and Co. Even Ray Charles could have seen that Guehi and Eze were going to leave.

Actually starting to do my heed in this bloke…
