Glasner

So well ran they could potentially go down, and have a huge new stand to pay for.
So we'll ran they didn't get their house in order over their European run costing the club millions.
They have loads of debt and have to sell the crown jewels each season, up until recent seasons they were battling relegation most seasons.
I'm not sure that they will go down this season, although they have a similar run now to one that started the "West Ham - Next 4 Games" thread, so they might get dragged into it. Their next four are Forest (a), then Brighton (a), then Burnley (h), then Wolves (h). I think that this was the weekend that the relegation race got interesting. Only Arsenal & Utd are on longer unbeaten runs than Bournemouth, Forest & Burnley (yes, I know that they were all draws), and West Ham are one of only 2 clubs (the other is Chelsea) with successive wins in their last 2.
They won't finish below west ham
If they lose their next 2 (Forest & Brighton away), and sell Mateta and / or Wharton, then they will go into their biggest 2 games of the season (Burnley & Wolves at home) in 4th bottom, in total crisis, totally devoid of confidence, and with Thursday night Conference League football to distract them. It's not inconceivable that they will finish below West Ham.

I also think that if Palace do go down, then they will struggle to get back up. I can see them quickly becoming like West Brom, Norwich, etc., back to being a 2nd tier club.

A lot of ifs considering west ham have Chelsea Bournemouth Liverpool United coming up

They wanted rid of him after his behaviour but weren’t prepared to pay him and his staff off. So it became a stand off as Glasner wasn’t going to resign for the same financial reasons.

Should’ve sacked him when he threw the team under bus after they played us
To be fair the CP board have thrown him under the bus with their absurd transfer decisions. Getting shot of Eze and Guehi and replacing them with Johnson and Strand Larsen beggars belief.
He deserved better than that

Maybe he did but he acted like a wanker and spoilt child. You don’t drag your players into your beef with the board. Blokes a tool

Keep selling off ya best players its gonna make any team struggle.

If anything they should have let the mags pay daft money for guehi and invested better because from that point on he was always gonna wait it out and leave for free, then they decided way too late in the window to grab what they could from city.
Its as much the silliness of parishs transfer business as glasner.

In 2seasons they lost eze, olise, guehi, and Anderson, those are pretty big holes to fill. And I'm guessing Wharton will be on a few shopping lists this summer

Not much you can do if the players decide to leave, they've got all the power now. If anything they probably kept Guehi for 6 months too long.

Glasner had already told the club he was leaving before they sold Guehi so that's irrelevant.
