Sure this year was planned for our summer too but then FIFA came along with club World Cup and basically said our competition is best so clubs don’t need to release players. Add in the money FIFA bribe sorry gift African FAs they get away with it.

Yep, and they couldn't have it start in 2026 as it's a world cup year and clubs only have to release players for one international tournament a year, hence shoehorning it into the back end of 2025.
