Not before time……But….not until after the next one in 2027 AND one the following year in 2028.

Two years in a row teams will be missing players mid season.
Ridiculous.

Aye, nice and cool in Africa that time of year.
The 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, also referred to as AFCON 2027 or CAN 2027, will be the 36th edition of the biennial African football tournament organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). It will be hosted by Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania from 19 June to 18 July 2027.
No chance of that, shirley.

I'm sure they know best

Needs to be more exclusive and less often. African football is growing constantly and the more time between tournaments will hopefully cause it’s popularity to rise even more

I stand corrected…..and rather surprised.

Well it's winter in southern Africa so I suppose it depends where it is held. Northern Africa would be a nightmare but I think Qatar has shown us that FAs couldn't care less.
They don't really have a winter as such. It never drops below low 20's. I went to Egypt in winter. It was mid 20's.

Sure this year was planned for our summer too but then FIFA came along with club World Cup and basically said our competition is best so clubs don’t need to release players. Add in the money FIFA bribe sorry gift African FAs they get away with it.

Was in Africa in July, pretty chilly in South Africa but the farther north we went the warmer it got
The guides and trackers we had were all football mad.
