Mundle

Eh ? He created absolutely nothing. Not one good cross or shot. I was hoping he would shine against championship ( soon to be lge1 ) oppos. He didnt for me, very disappointing. Am not having a pop , just I think we'll sell him come summer. Not good enough by a fair margin.
Another who obviously didn’t watch the game properly. If you had you would have seen the shot he had that the keeper had to dive and push away after good work from Talbi and Le Fee.
He also played a lovely pass to Mayenda who almost scored with his first touch.
First half he had no-one in the box to pass or cross to .

Yes.

I’ve seen Mundle 13 times this season and yet to see a goal or an assist.

Is that not what we should judge him on?
Running Around a lot and nearly doing something is good enough apparently, he’s not good enough for the premier league but ppl seem to believe he is or might be

Is that it then?

Handful of games and that’s it?

Maybe a bit longer. Out with a serious injury and surgery and no pre season.

He played well today, but against a team 2nd bottom of the Championship. Gets into good positions and end product / decision making is lacking.

He's back from a long lay off so maybe he will improve given time. Decision making is crucial at the top level though.

Mate he was literally playing against a pub team compared to The PL. I would love it if improves enough to get regular starts for us , but the signing of the two wingers is a big clue. He'll have a decent career at champioship level and good luck to him.

Mundle dilly-dallied with the ball taking on allcomers, swerving, dancing and so on but achieving very little if anything at all. In other words he looks a bit flashy but produces little to change games.
Awful post. That's why he was Man of the Match on Talksport. Mundle was absolutely terrible (according to you). He was the best player on the pitch according to people who know the game. Let's not continue to slag players off for absolutely no reason. Man of the Match. Best player on the pitch.

He's been injury free for 3 months ?

Should be fully fit and up to speed now, we should be seeing more from him than just working hard defensively, an odd goal or assist here and there would be handy.

I think I’ll accept the views and opinion of Regis who works with the lad every day, as opposed to a group on here who are writing a young player off and think they know better than our Manager.
As much as I agree with everything you've said, Radj, your Mrs looks terrible in comparison to mine.

Thought his end product was lacking but he looked far sharper than he has done for a while so hopefully he’s building up a bit of confidence and can be an asset over the next few months.

There's people who are convinced that a winger should be skinning 3 players and putting the ball in the top corner every time they get the ball.

By your reckoning mate, wingers produce a goal or assist once every 2 1/2 years

No. You've missed half the time from your calculation. Ive generously allowed your stupid rules to say wingers score or assist in 19 games a premier league season. Which is clearly more than most of them do
