Mundle

Reasonable response to someone suggesting that Mundle may have found his ceiling.

Good luck to the lad.

And please see someone about your anger issues. Not great for your blood pressure and possibly your poor family.
No anger issues at all.
Just frustration that we have so called fans like you that just want to have a pop at our young, developing players.

I think if you read my comments, they are fair and balanced and not personal to Mundle.

Probably the same conversations we had internally about Roberts / Huggins / Neil / Patto etc.

Thanks for your work last season Romaine but we are operating at a different level now. Time for a new challenge. Good luck.

Absolutely ridiculous!!

You’re embarrassing yourself here !!

I’m not sure saying he dosent look ready for the Prem is slating him.

All he’s shown today is that he’s a good player at championship level.

I like the lad, and hope he does progress to being by a Pl player, I personally don’t think he will from what I’ve seen so far, but I hope I’m proven wrong.
The only way he’s going to progress is by playing him.
With this he’s going to make mistakes. Patience really.

Mundle is a willing worker and has genuine ability in running at pace with the ball.

Ultimately though he’ll be judged as a winger by the number of assists and goals he contributes to the side.

So far this season in all competitions he’s made 13 appearances (some starting, some off the bench) and has a total of 0 goals and 0 assists.

By comparison Talbi has 20 appearances with 3 goals and 1 assist.

I’d imagine Alungo will be the next left sided winger given a chance to prove he’s worthy of his place in the starting eleven.

It’s nothing personal against Mundle but if the club want to make continual progress they will replace players who aren’t contributing.

I can see Mundle being allowed to leave in the summer with Talbi/Alungo fighting it out for the left winger spot.

People on here slating Mundle are absolute sausages.
Mundle has played less than 50 senior games. He’s 22 years old been injured for a long time (his first serious injury) and it’s criminal that he is being slated for not ripping up the prem.
he showed today that with confidence he can produce. Calm down people. FTM.
He’s playing against Oxford a team in the relegation zone in the championship.

Not sure how that translates to confidence that he will produce in the prem. he isn’t good enough and won’t be here much longer.

He had a rotten hamstring injury and didn’t start his season until the 29th of November so it’s unfair to compare stats with Talbi just yet. He has played a third of the minutes that Talbi has played. He was our best player today.

Looked decent against a bottom championship team likely to be in the third tier next season , don’t think he’s consistent enough to be playing regular prem games
I think he’ll be gone in the summer

He tortured them and had a strong shot well saved. He drew a lot of fouls and was good defensively too.
Eh ? He created absolutely nothing. Not one good cross or shot. I was hoping he would shine against championship ( soon to be lge1 ) oppos. He didnt for me, very disappointing. Am not having a pop , just I think we'll sell him come summer. Not good enough by a fair margin.
