Mundle

Gave the ball away everytime he got it and just continues to run into people.

We need better and will get better in the summer. He’s nowhere near

We've already got better for the left wing in Angulo and Talbi plus Le Fee can play out there, we don't need to wait until summer.

We probably should have found a good loan for him to play regularly 2nd half of the season, but as that never materialised we have to keep him involved, still an asset.

He starts v Oxford for me.

Offered the same as Talbi. People like to bang on about cutting inside yet many players have built successful careers as inverted wingers, pretty sure he crossed in on his left as well.

He should've played them the other way around. Talbi is a better left winger and has a far far higher ceiling than Mundle while they are bother poor on the right. Rather have one poor winger than 2 as a result of putting Talbi out on the right

Our Wingers are pretty easy to play against. Ones a RB for starters and the others constantly look to come inside. We have an ultra defensive head coach whose system doesn’t give wingers any freedom. Rarely do they pick the ball up in space deep in the oppositions half. We are very slow in our build up and we allow teams to get set defensively.

He might be good enough one day, but for now he needs a championship loan. He’s not even had a full season in the championship. He’s certainly not PL level yet.

I think he can dither on the ball and get it taken off his toes when he’s had a good opportunity to cross it into the box. Sometimes his 1st touch lets him down. Was playing walking football when defending instead of fast intensity pressing. To be fair he has pace so is useful depending on the opponent.
Le Bris seems to see qualities in some players I just don’t see, like Hume as a midfielder instead of Geertruida.

He had a few good games.

He was shite a lot of the time in the championship aswell.

Hes nowhere near the quality required.

He literally scored 3 goals in his first 6 championship games last season (his first 4 starts iirc). Then in another 19 games he scored another two goals and one assist. He offered a pacey option for us at times on the left, but he wasn't even a proven uality player in the championship- he just hadn't played enough.

The idea he can step up after just over half of a championship season and an injury is mental and its got nowt to do with fitness.

A few months ago we were having the same argument on here and posters were telling me he was good because he'd had a few shots in his early sub games and about 4 against Everton. Well since then he's put about 2 crosses in and not had a shot since Brentford. He's playing increasingly safer and like Xhaka ignoring him in open space in an earlier appearance, Brobbey did the same last night as well. I don't think his team mates trust him, he's inept for the level.
