When you post the link to the picture..
Use the icon that looks like a photo along the top of the box you type into(before the smilie face)
Then paste the link into there

Can this method work if trying to upload a wattsap mp4 video ? If not any idea hot to ? Cheers.

I wouldnt think so as the method on here is for photos or gifs. you'd have to have the video hosted somewhere and then get a link, or even just upload it to youtube but make the video provate and then post the link here

I've uploaded it to Google drive where I've created a link which is in my clipboard on my phone but I can't work out hot to attach the link to a post

Just pasting it into the post will normally work, although Google Drive won’t embed a player on RTG, it will just be a link to download the video.
