We’ve had to take mr chuckles to the vets today, he was fine tea time last night then a few hours later we noticed he wouldn’t stand up and when he eventually did, he was very unsteady and uncomfortable, still the same this morning, refused to come see me when I walked through the door which is very, very unusual for him, hopefully it’s nowt to serious. He jumped off the sofa a couple of years ago and caused some ligament/tendon damage, hoping it’s only something similar.
He’s built like a brick shit house but has noodles for legs so easy to land awkwardly and cause some damage when he’s jumping up/down from a sofas I suppose…
Hopefully that’s all it is anyway…

Thank you @mikem et al, having a sh*** day at work, doing a ***** ****ing mobile b****** home, ****like cushions, no 2 alike, total utter ****s, never mind the interruptions about the swingers TV beds (don't) ******* head is about to ****ing burst, AND ITS FREEZING!!!
But the last few posts have cheered me up!
We were offered another puppy from the breeder and it would have been Cassie’s nephew. We gave it a bit of thought and remembered the first few months which were hard work, but obviously worth it now.I forgot how much work a puppy iscane corso so I say puppy but he’s pretty big already at about two months old. I can’t wait to get his second round of jabs he’s dying to go for walks. I’m spending a fortune on puppy pads as he shites about six times a day
he’s pretty good at going to the back door to wee and pop so we shouldn’t find it too hard to get him to tell us about needing the loo. Trying to stop him nibbling on hands and stuff as it’s cute now but that won’t last and I don’t want him growing thinking it’s ok to bite.
We’ve got her daughter and boyfriend living with us atm and they were all buzzing to get him till he started being a puppyWe were offered another puppy from the breeder and it would have been Cassie’s nephew. We gave it a bit of thought and remembered the first few months which were hard work, but obviously worth it now.
However the original buyers changed their minds again and decided to buy it after all. So we didn’t have to make a definitive answer.
It is like having kids, not always easy but worth it, most of the time.
Sounds promisingAm I section and a couple of hundred quid later snd chuckles seems to be ok, they think he’s sprained his right front and back legs, they also suspect he has the onset of arthritis, he’s 7 this year and she reckoned it’s quite common around this age, he’s also needs to lose a couple of kg’s so I’ll have to cut back a bit on the scran he eats,
Hopefully he’s alright now. He’s walking about now which is an improvement on yesterday/this morning.
Yeah. You already know what the update will be.Logon or register to see this image
Special treat for any puppy fans…a couple of weeks more growing for them all, and we’ve had an update. Or a pupdate, if I may…
