In fairness, 2 of the matches are going to be an hour minimum but I do agree, more titles should be on the line. Especially the main. We have 4 and 1 was defended tonight, yet the rumbles are for these titles no one got to see tonight (other than the 1 mentioned).

I'll give the Rumble a pass given the length of the feature event, but most other PLE's barely get past 5 matches which is insane given the length of the shows, and that there is a total of 10 titles I can think of.

He should've been eliminated by Oba for sure and at least have him eliminated when the focus is on him, not while Jey is doing his entrance . AEW levels of production there.

You didn't? You lucky bastard . Yes, he basically went to AEW to give a new product some leverage and was terrible at doing so. He actually was good at first but he appeared to lose the plot and did some absolutely awful stuff. He managed to get no new stars over and was involved in some right bollocks.

Evidently it's nigh on impossible to get new stars over in AEW anyway but there you go.

I don't know if you mean slower pace in the ring (which I agree with) or slower pace as a show. I only wanted to see the men's rumble match but had to skip through at least 25 mins of package videos of utter shite. That must be absolutely brutal to watch live.

I have no doubt TKO is milking ads and having PLEs in Saudi to generate money for the highest sale to Saudi themselves. It is pretty rank

I don't think he is. Ripley is the most popular on the entire roster IMO. I think a lot are tired of the three you mentioned, LA Knight arguably got the biggest pop of the night.

Which is part of the problem with rumble matches and has been for years. It's not natural. Still to this day, the 92 rumble is the best and the reason why is multiple grudges being played out of built on in one match.

Example* Cody hates Brock or whom ever and instead of hitting eachother, they stand there looking at eachother whilst someone else enters. How many times do we need to see that

I can't see Iyo's popularity waning anytime soon, and Bron is over but the main event scene has been dominated in the last year by Punk, Rollins, Cena, Rhodes and Gunther, they haven't got any new stars over at that level really since Reigns lost at WM 40. Throw in part time returning Lesnar and Reigns and it's desperate stuff.

Vaquer, Cargill, Bronson Reed etc are all bland as owt and tbh how are they meant to get over when they barely wrestle or appear in any meaningful segments.

The ones who do get organically over like Knight, Chelsea Green, Gable just get stuck in the mid card doing mainly comedy stuff and losing every week.

If all else fails though, we can stick someone in a hooded mask.

A Royal Rumble match doesn't need a load of surprise entrants to be good. It needs entrants with a purpose and stories happening where you want to see some kind of pay off from them.

Again, the best one is still 92 and that's exactly why that one is so good. One of the reasons why the Rumble has become so shit is because no one cares as much after the buzzer goes off, it's just fans opening loot crates on FIFA now. Once the bloke is in the ring they lose interest and stand up looking down the ramp for the next one.
