Xhaka v West Ham Fans

Why did it take so long for the stewards to get involved. If fans are getting into the players as much as that they have to be shifted, it's a joke actually and West Han should be heavily fined.
It’s the shithole of a stadium, most other stadiums it isn’t laid out like that f***ing players look like they’re almost in with the crowd. I don’t mind people giving players stick as long as it doesn’t cross a line, I’m also ok with players having a bite back at fans. It always makes me laugh when fans who’ve been screaming red in the face get all precious when a player shouts back 🤣 too many flat caps and badges in the crowd for me to take anyone serious.

If something awful was said, hope Granit confirms it.

Sick of reading about victim fans who did nothing honest.

This one was probably breast feeding his bairn and the nasty whatever-phobic Sunderland captain complained about tits being out at a stadium

Then again, was all a load of nowt
We are talking about a club whose fans were caught on TV singing "Hitler is coming for you" to Spurs fans and got a free "educational" trip to Poland.

Also, did Kevin Kilbane get grief for reporting them for singing about disabled people?

Seen a few mentions of the stick being related to Xhaka's heritage. Any confirmation of this?

Onlyplace I've read that is on here. I saw an article that said mukiele wasnt happy being subbed off, the crowd were giving it the old "wheyyyyy" at the responses. Xhaka had then told people to have a bit of respect

If he didn’t play for us, I’m not sure I’d know his heritage. I have a hard time believing that a few drunk West Ham fans knew enough about Swiss international Granit Xhaka has kosovan heritage and, in addition, enough knowledge about the Serb / kosovan conflict to piece together a meaningful insult that riled him up like that.

Aye that's all I have read which IF true is a daft over reaction. But my assumption when it was happening was something had been said about his heritage as I know he has had a lot of stick over the years.

There could quite easily be fans with similar heritage. Croat or whatever.

When you read up on Xhaka upbringing and what his parents went through , his dad imprisoned and tortured for 3 year , it’s no wonder he’s probably hard as nails the shit he will have seen as a kid
