Ok. I’m interested in why you didn’t rate him when you watched him and now he’s changing your mind when you haven’t watched him but seen he’s chalking goals.
What was your opinion of him in the 21s?
I’ve given mine.
Lightweight and lacking skill? Ok.Where have I said I’m changing my opinion?
I’ve given the opinion I had of him, it’s further up in the thread…
Are you just itching for an argument or something?
To me he looked a bit lightweight, not particularly quick or skilful. Aye, worked hard but I didn’t think he’d make it.
Not to say I have owt against the lad, seems to be finding his feet.
I’ve been wrong before. I thought Colback would be an absolute phenom, Louis Laing would captain us at some point and Ingham would make a half decent keeper…
Lightweight and lacking skill? Ok.
No argument from me. You are wrong though.
It was a tap in again, jonny on the spot. Just after that it might have been him who got down the left wing and put the ball over but the centre forward missed, not sure though because there was no commentary and they didn't give a close up.I’ve also admitted I’ve been wrong before on this very thread, gave a couple of examples as well.
Just seemed you tried to put words in my mouth and then attempted to cause an unnecessary argument
Either way, hope the lad does well. I’ll look out for his goal on the EFL highlights this evening.

Will do the lads confidence the world of good. Well done. Will be good to see a Sunderland lad banging the goals in at St James park every other week
