Dont miss that bitter little dwarf.Still a daft move. Ian Harte’s finger prints all over it like.
We should make him a 300m bid then pull it minutes before we sign it.

No pelters from me, just quoting his remark.Who cares what his motivation was. More importantly I will always remember his goal at Wembley and what it meant to us as a club. No pelters from me .
Is the correct answer. I can't remember any other game where he had a blinder or was hugely influential. How many good games did he play for us ?
2, plus 20 minutes at Wembley
4 year contract paid down at 2.5 million a year. Even if he doesn't make it, with 20 to 40 PL appearances over a couple of seasons, another10 or more appearances in cup games - they'll get their money back with a sale to top-end championship/ Dortmund/ lower prem.I never really understood why Brighton were so desperate to get him. I guess he fits their model but he was nowhere near ready for the PL. But we got the best deal possible and he likely will make it.
He probably would have got more game time here, particularly over the afcon and more opportunities off the bench- with Mundle being Injured and Le Bris liking to bring wingers off the bench.
Personally I would have expected Brighton to give him more opportunities in the PL, he's part of the reason they let Adringa come here.
But I'm sure he'll have a great half season and be given opportunities when he's back. If we get to the summer though and Brighton have lost interest (like they did with Adringa when something new and shiny came along) we might want to consider offering them their money back.
If the club had thought the same, we would have kept him on. Money was never a reason for the sale it turns out.I will always be grateful for the goal he scored in the final, but I think he was badly advised by his agent and I think he would have had a better career and development here. Unfortunately and I hope I’m wrong he will end up as a journeyman going from club to club, and never reaching his full potential.
A lot of people taking it very personally, as though Watson left them. Some wanting him to have a shit career just because he had the audacity to leave Sunderland.Yet aother ex player hated by a section of our fans for nowt
I mean tbf, if Phillips can be hated anyone can.
He wouldn't.Funny thing is if he was still here he would possibly be starting most games on the left wing.

Hes better than Talbi and Mundle right now like and id put my house on him having a better career than both of them
He definitely would. He’s a good player with a ton of potential. He’s the exact player we would be giving plenty of games, plus nobody has really held down that left wing spotA lot of people taking it very personally, as though Watson left them. He wouldn't.
I've just gone through the 3 pages and can't find any hate anywhere. One dubious poster who went in a bit harsh and there seems to be more hate for Ian Harte. I'm confused though - I thought it had been cleared up that Danny Graham was the agent? I might be completely wrong though.Yet aother ex player hated by a section of our fans for nowt

If is is loaned, would like this or maybe Rangers.Boro be good for him.

Not sure that is true tbhSet his career back to get rich quick. Looking like a very poor choice.
Who would he have played instead of?He definitely would. He’s a good player with a ton of potential. He’s the exact player we would be giving plenty of games, plus nobody has really held down that left wing spot
Ironically while he's leaving something else all over Ian Harte's daughter...Still a daft move. Ian Harte’s finger prints all over it like.
A half fit mundle, an out of form Adingra. Like I said nobody has nailed down that left wing spot and Watson would be getting a more first team minutes than he’s getting at Brighton.Who would he have played instead of?
He couldn't nail down that spot in the Championship. Maybe during AFCON he might have had a bit of game time but we've had Talbi and Le Fee on the left at times and they're both better than Watson.A half fit mundle, an out of form Adingra.
