Aye, ok..
Wonder if club in a sentimental moment let him leave on a free??
Why not out of interest?Hopefully going abroad, he doesn't need to stay in the Championship.
He's already shown that he's better than that level IMO, no need to go and test himself there again when there are Bundesliga clubs interested. Why not out of interest?
Utter nonsenseTalking about a guy who was quite frankly carried in our promotion winning side, I shit myself every time he had the ball, would he have even got in those promotion winning Sheffield United or Burnley sides?
No way you would have said that at the point Jobe left. Buckets of hindsight here.Aye, chance to kick on if he goes to the Bundesliga, I think he'd do better there than Jobe has so far.
Weeees this absolute knocker?Talking about a guy who was quite frankly carried in our promotion winning side, I shit myself every time he had the ball, would he have even got in those promotion winning Sheffield United or Burnley sides?
Edit: more than happy to get stats on this
Can't agree with you sorry. Steady championship player yes, a top two or three championship player? Not so sure myself. He's already shown that he's better than that level IMO, no need to go and test himself there again when there are Bundesliga clubs interested.
It was pretty obvious that Jobe still had serious issues that needed to be worked on, especially when he plays further forward. Which unfortunately has been the case with Dortmund. No way you would have said that at the point Jone left. Buckets of hindsight here.
tounge in cheekWhy on earth would we do that, it was his choice to run his contract down.
For me Neil went missing when we were behind or in big games and is slow. He might prove me wrong good luck to him.It was pretty obvious that Jobe still had serious issues that needed to be worked on, especially when he plays further forward. Which unfortunately has been the case with Dortmund.
Neil can turn into trouble too much but he's nowhere near as ponderous and "safe" as Jobe.
I think he (and Jobe) could be good enough for the Prem, if they are ever given time to adapt to it, but it would have been a severe learning curve for them if they had started for us. Both far too easily dispossessed because they always think they can turn their way out of trouble, I think Neil has more skill though and could make it work quicker but that's obviously not a chance the club wanted to take. Can't agree with you sorry. I just don't think he should have been playing in front of the back four, it worked in the end but he is better when pressing and joining in with attacks.tounge in cheek

Time will tell on his development which I'll watch with interest. I'm not expecting anything spectacular though from what I've seen over the years.I think he (and Jobe) could be good enough for the Prem, if they are ever given time to adapt to it, but it would have been a severe learning curve for them if they had started for us. That never happened. He may not always have played well. He never hid thoughtounge in cheek
